Basically every Chinese in Southeast Asia Archipelago(Malaysia, Indoensia, Philippines, Singapore, Brunei) are Hokkien or Cantonese. Mostly. From the Southern China. That's why these ppl call some stuff that originated from China with Hokkien words. Like for example "tea" word. In Southeast Asia aechipelago, we call it "teh" because it is from Hokkien way to call it. They call it as "te". Japan n Korea call it "cha" because they got that word from Northern China language. In the northern China, they call it as "cha" or "chay". Maybe. China have a big influence for the Eastern part of the world. Japan, Indonesia, even to Persia. Edit: Japanese n Korean itself are Chinese that migrated to these regions. For Japanese case, some of them mixed with the local people, the Ainu people. And adapted to the cold region and also archipelago. So that's why Japanese kinda different from normal Chinese. Some of Japanese have bigger eyes for example.

Biriyani is a curry/rice dish... But the spices and so on are integrated into a rice mixture, that is served with some other things with it. It is a dish in the spirit of fried rice, in the sense its good to do to use ingredients and left over rice up for a cheap easy meal, but rather than the typical Fried Rice condimants (soy sauce, sesame oil etc)... You would use a ground spice flavour profile things like coriander, cumin, tumeric etc. Biriyani is worth a try, it is nice.

These stoves are more UK/European. In the USA and Canada, a gas stove will have the knobs/buttons on the front of it and usually sold as a single unit with the oven/broiler.
@damionlee76583 жыл бұрын
The stove with knobs on the right is more common in "Fitted" gas hobs from the 80s, 90s, and early 00s (Certainly in the UK where this was filmed). This is where the hobs are fitted into the work surface, and are completely separate from your oven and grill (which may be fitted into a cabinet directly below the hobs, or in another part of the kitchen). Example: www.diy.com/departments/beko-qse223sx-stainless-steel-single-multifunction-oven-gas-hob-pack/1771963_BQ.prd In these setups, the knobs are generally on the right as the majority of people are right handed. More modern fitted hobs are now designed with the knobs along the front, or along the front but offset to the right hand side. Examples: www.diy.com/departments/cooke-lewis-gasuit5-5-burner-inox-stainless-steel-gas-gas-hob-w-750mm/1769723_BQ.prd (Front) Or www.diy.com/departments/cooke-lewis-clgasuit4-4-burner-inox-stainless-steel-gas-gas-hob-w-580mm/1769716_BQ.prd (Front right) It is rare to see this on a stand alone cooker, when the knobs are generally along the front of the cooker. (Source: I am old, and had a lot of cookers in my time. And if course the B&Q DIY store website - none of the links are affiliate links) PS, Love the Uncle Roger videos, and your reactions to them. a few people i know here in germany also have that type of gas stove, i think it's pretty common from a few european companies who make those "built into the kitchen counter" style stoves about the MSG thing: lots of people here think MSG is bad for you, but there's research actually saying that it can be better (e.g. for your blood pressure) if you use MSG instead of normal salt, and really as long as you don't use too much it's not bad for you (and then it wouldn't taste good either), i think people don't like it because it makes them think of cheap instant food, but by that logic they shouldn't use water either :P

4:01 Food and health regulations are actually off the chart in Europe. All rice allowed to be sold here is no-wash rice, however it is often stated that you should still wash it because the grains my rub against each other in the package and chip off dust-like particles that is said to make your rice sticky when cooking. In my opinion this is bollocks because the rubbing is prone to happen in the cooking pot as well and in particular when you start poking a fork around in it. My tip is that you don't wash the rice, you get more consistent results that way.

Some vegetables, chilli padi (small chillies but much spicy than red pepper)and no ginger. Egg is a must sometimes i make it separately sometimes i fried it together with the rice,. And sometimes i also fried the anchovies separately than added it with rice in the last step or as garnish. Variety way and ingredient for fried rice depends the person who cook it.
