Literally the first true exotic recipe I ever made 10 years ago. Wife just loves it to this day! Had the chance to try beef curry in Toyama - exactly the same delicious, beautiful traditional recipe.

This is the second or third time in 24 hours that Japanese Curry has been brought up, so I’m making it tonight! Just watched your video again to make sure I add the paste at the right time - I’ve actually never made this curry for myself!

That is the kind of curry rue that I use. Seeing you use it makes me feel much better about using this kind. I like to use more carrots than potatoes to reduce the starch that changes to sugar so quickly. This sounds great with the apples and garam masala. I was gifted pickled daikon, so that would be a good addition! Love your videos!

I tried making curry a few days ago using your original video but I did my own little twist to it by using some venison I cut for stew and it turned out amazing. Love your videos

One of my fav comfort foods. I like to add mushrooms and broccoli to mine. I know it's not traditional, but I love mushrooms. And the broccoli really soaks up all that curry, it's amazing! If I'm feeling really fancy I'll make chicken katsu on the side

Do you have to cut down the amount of ingredients use if ur just cooking for urself or should i just go exactly as stated and it can be stored for later?

Hi Did I see that correctly that you only ever use one of the two chambers for 1 pot of curry because I always used both, was that maybe too much?

It depends on how much water and vegetables/meat you put in. One box of curry mix (two chambers) for a large pot of curry sounds just right.

Disappointed. I was hoping this recipe was making the curry sauce from scratch, but all it is is pre-made curry sauce and following the recipe that's on the curry sauce box:-(
