I might be your vice versa, as I can never let go of my Californian streetwear aesthetics (workwear/skater), but I will eat up anything and everything Japanese. And following Reggie and the Casual helps me break my own mold more and more

A couple of ideas that I think would be useful: 1. a guide per city (at least the major ones: Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, etc.). Per style (casual, business casual, business), a lot of Stores/styles you’d recommend, and associated budgets. This would be amazing 2. A wardrobe per budget range: 0-$500, $500-$1000, etc. the idea here would be for those wanting to make a trip to Japan or buy from abroad, where to start, what constitutes the “basis” to start building a wardrobe, etc. 3. Style per color skin or body morphologies. Most folks don’t know what color goes well with their skin tone, or color type (does this make me look fat, tall, short?), etc. Just my 2 cents, but I’ve never seen those type of guides out there, so merging them with how Japan does it would be useful. Thanks!

Some Japanese brands that do military or Americana I’ve noticed they’re made 100 cotton an i really enjoy that instead of here in the states it’s a mix of materials

Great video and super insightful as always! Can’t wait to see what’s in store for the future of this channel. I enjoy all the content in this channel and would love to see more IRL content and more information on the fashion mindset in Japan.

Watch people in the streets that are wearing interesting clothes and ask them how they put them together and where they got them…then break it down with info from the brands or stores they mentioned. That way it won’t just be the same ‘What are you wearing?’ kinds of videos on the net/YT.

Porter Heat is definetly one of their most rugged lines. I have the same bag and the patina on the brassware is fire.

I would love to see you out and about at your favorite fashion locations/boutiques, speaking about pieces you like or recommend there. I know it would be more to coordinate as you'd probably have to ask for filming permissions, etc. but I think it would be really cool to be able to see the pieces you highlight in the actual stores, ex. The Blue Blue Japan pants at the actual Okura Blue Blue flagship, maybe even speaking with the (very awesome) staff there.

My issue is that my closet is so full both in the physical sense and in the “I don’t need any more cool things” sense that only a piece that is THE PIECE I would even consider. I’ve shopped a lot of Japanese pieces already and now that I’m going to Japan soon I’m worried that either I’ll find nothing in my size/that I need or that I’ll learn about something I never knew of and have to buy another suitcase

I feel bad suggesting something without at least a sub and like. So there ya go! Love your content. So what about grunge, rocker and metal style fashion. And I don't mean J-Rock style fashion either. I mean the aggressive metal heads growing their hair out, and the dingy street style aesthetic. The people who are Not catering/ honouring the Japanese societal norms

Though Japanese clothes are stylish, I'm NOT convinced that wearing synthetic clothing is healthy. Your skin is your largest organ in the body. Synthetic clothes are made from a myriad of chemicals, some hormone disruptors and others may lead to cancer... but I'm not a doctor nor a scientist. Noble textiles are natural, made from wool, cashmere, cotton, linen, and silk. Yes, the processing of natural textiles can be unhealthy too if not treated correctly. For more information on synthetics, you can start by watching Paul Saladino MD's KZbin videos: "Lululemon Leggings Contain What?" There's also, "Clothing can be toxic" and "Is polyester clothing affecting our fertility/hormones?" Synthetic clothing has not been proven to pass the test of time. We've been forced and hoodwinked by governments and industries before that products are safe, such as cigarettes, when they are not. Be wary.
