Food looks amazing!!! Can't wait for my trip to Japan.....I'm saving and for my 40th birthday I am going to Japan I've wanted to go to Japan since I was in 4th grade when I met a Japanese girl "Takako" She came to the states with her parents they had to come here for their job...and we became so close I was fascinated with her culture and her mom would pack me a snack to try in her lunch ❤ one of my favorite memories of my childhood....thank you for that 😊

I love the whole day delivery videos you make! ^^ This subscription box seems super interesting. I have subscribed to a snack box before and a noodle box. Noodle one I loved more because I could make all these dishes with the noodles. Seems like I could like this kokoro crate. It does seem pricier than the boxes I have been subscribed to before, but its totally understandable as you get many things to use over a longer course of time. Never heard about shiokoji before. Totally want to try it and marinate some fish or chicken with it. Seems yummy.

I grew up on my Aunts dairy farm in Alberta, Canada. She worked with the agriculture program at the University in Okinawa, and every year she had two students come over and learn how to work on a large farming operation in North America. I felt sorry for those students when they came over and had to eat her food! But they were definitely hard workers and asked many questions, and they weren't afraid to try anything... including riding bucking bulls! LOL!

Pizza toast is one of my sons favourite food. I put tomato sauce (if i don''t have one I use ketchup), Salami and cheese on toast and put it in the oven for ten minutes. In a few butcher stores here in Germany you also find pizza toast or pizza rolls but they have a mixture of cheese, sause and filling on it which doesn't look appetizing

When I miss Japan, it is often a food memory that triggers the feeling. I love and miss Japanese cuisine. Sharing a meal makes people like each other or as the feel closer with strong bond. Eating the same food leads to trust and cooperation because they feel closer with the feeling of intimacy among those eating together, share the experience with eating and drinking.

Overall, I enjoy the school lunches but there are two items that I really don't enjoy: simmered kiriboshi daikon and natto.😅 Luckily for me, natto is served rarely and kiriboshi daikon only every couple of weeks.
