5:55 I just went to this store yesterday. I told the wife that I know of their store because of you. She was so thankful and told her husband. The husband gave me a Japanese chocolate biscuit. So sweet! Regarding quality, this place changed my friend’s mind about uni. She never liked uni until yesterday. And the rice was sooo soft and a bit on the warmer side with the perfect about of vinegar.

my wife is Japanese too. But we live in Hawaii so if we can't make it , we can find Japanese restaurant that has what we want & crave. We make a mean bowl of Miso Ramen soup & gyozas at home though. WE live on Big Island so we do have cool winters too. Which means Nabe party in the winter. We have miso soup at any meal. My wife can make homemade miso paste. Can never get enough of that. Aloha

It’s a myth that eating spicy food ‘burns out’ your taste buds. In fact, it’s more the opposite. After eating lots of spicy food, I can actually more clearly taste the underlying flavors of different kinds of peppers instead of just being ’shocked’ by the heat part. The complex flavors of the other spices also then stand out more too.
@SkkyJuse

I just drooled on my phone. That sushi had me. Seared salmon is always my favorite. There is something about the temperature/texture/flavor variances in that piece that gets me. I’m amazed how every piece of sushi from that conveyor restaurant was gigantic.

I have such a passion for cooking foods, but when I watch this my passion grows, simultaneously my sadness grows since I live in a cold remote region in the world and I have no access to such incredible ingredients for food. But it just makes me want to pursue my dreams of traveling to learn different cultures and their cuisine!

Hello Mark! Sapporo looks like a beautiful place! Absolutely is true, big bowl of hot ramen on a cold day, OMG nothing is more comforting! That bowl you ordered with plentiful pork slices and the eggs perfect with ramen! The way you eat and your face expressions says a lot that you're really enjoying the food you eat! I stream your You Tube channel all day! Have an "OH WOW" Days!

I just read your blog "about me." WOW!! I feel like I'm drawn to your videos because of your respectful kindness towards places you visit & their people. I wanted to know more & I feel like you made the right choice for how you were raised!! Even if others want a different life & lifestyle, food brings all people together universally! You are a great inspiring human being, doing what you love with those you love. THAT is living the dream!!

HEY MARK, I REALLY ENJOYED THAT. I HAVE A TRIP TO JAPAN PLANNED FOR NEXT SPRING OF 2020 AND THAT MAKES THIS REALLY INTERESTING FOR ME. I'M LUCKY BECAUSE I HAVE TWO FACEBOOK FRIENDS IN THE COUNTRY, ONE IS AN AMERICAN THAT SPEAKS JAPANESE AND THE OTHER IS A VERY BEAUTIFUL JAPANESE LADY THAT SPEAKS VERY LITTLE ENGLISH, THAT SHOULD BE FUN. I'M NOT A CONNOISSEUR OF SPICY FOODS BUT I DO LIKE A BIT OF SPICE IN MY FOOD. ENJOY YOUR CHANNEL IMMENSELY AND LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOUR NEXT VIDEO. THANK YOU FOR LETTING US BE A PART OF YOUR LIFE.

It just dawned on me that the reason I so love watching your food videos is not because the great locations, great trips and great information of awesome food; It's because you always react like a 7 year old who's just had God give him the keys to Gods personal food stash!!! Peace, Love and Light my friends.
