Takamatsu station's face is very cute and charming! When I'm feeling tired and burnt out, experiencing travels and foods through your channel brings some life back to me. Thank you for uploading your videos!

"I'm a part of pumpkin now" and the first thought that came to my mind was Solo-san became Pumpkin-san? 😅🤣 Anyways thanks for the udon tour... Love udon esp' when the weather gets cold. Can't wait for the day I get to try all these in Japan. 😍

My favorite udon restaurant in Takamatsu city area is Udon Baka Ichidai near Kawaramachi. Their special is Kama butter udon. The place is so popular that one hour wait in line is common, but I say it’s worth it. Recommend for the next time!

When i go to Japan is gonna be the same, eat, walk, eat, gym, eat, walk, eat, sleep, then repeat the process for another 14 days. Cycle of eating. Thank you for the video!

I love how in Japan it's totally normal to travel somewhere solely to eat the local food. I occasionally travel to Vancouver (a short and cheap flight) just for dim sum and Japanese food, and people here think it's weird.

I'm a huge fan of both your channels! I've been watching your main for some time, and only just started working my way through your food tours. Tonight I was watching this video and my mouth was literally watering. I immediately ordered Udon with a spicy miso broth. Oh, and tonkatsu with curry, just in case. It was tasty, but it pales in comparison to my assumption of what I assume the food you've eaten tastes like. Anyway, keep up the fantastic work, and I'm very much looking forward to visiting Japan. I'll take a ferry and eat curry rice in your honor!

Enjoyed the Udon tour. The Udon looked delicious. However, I would prefer it warm. As for the pumpkin, it looked more like a giant lady bug. I find it amazing than you're able to find such nice hotel rooms that are reasonably priced. Will see you in the next food tour . . . stay safe.

I'm from Brazil and, the vibe that Japan gives it's something unique, the gardens, the forests, the mountains... my country has that too but it's different, Japan gives the best of all, seduce more u know.

Yes, I think 5 bowls of Udon might be a bit much in one day. But all those dishes looked very yummy. Start packing some wet weather gear so you don't have to exit a interesting vendue.

This looks like a realy nice location. By the way, I mentioned, everyone leaves the soup after having noodles in Japan. Is it rude to drink it after the noodles are eaten? Or is it up to everyone himself?

I watch a lot of Japanese Restaurants and see how they make and serve food. Those Udons you ate looked amazing. God Bless and be safe. Your one you did about Okonomiyaki in Hiroshima I have been wanting to find some place near my home in US to get it.

I have a very uneducated question. Udon noodles here are so diverse where I'm at. And not very authentic. What are authentic udon noodles made of? Wheat flour? White flour? Rice flour? That way, I know what to look for to have something more authentic.

The name refers to cold noodles served with sauce or broth. That is the original use of the term, which existed long before the more infamous usage.
