yeah, same. I think language like that generally sticks around for quite awhile, or quickly returns. I daily use (and hear ppl my age saying) rad, sweet and sick but I know a lot of older people seemed oddly shocked by that ? and usually go off saying "lit" (which I've never rlly heard unironically ?) for 30 minutes to taunt me for "stealing their lingo" afterwards lmfao

When I was in 2nd grade the whole second grade did a thing called "Japan Day" at school. each class had a different solid color tye dye pattern shirt (my class got black) and we learned about japanese culture among other things. I think the teacher s wore kimonos but all i can remember was the arizona tea, rice krispy treat "sushi", and the cherry blossom tissue paper crafts we glued onto some paper... Idk if we learned much that day considering all us kids were like 7 years old. I do remember the Zen garden activity where we had mini gardens with actual sand and rocks.

XD 8:00 can we just appreciate the interaction between those two? I mean I'm just sitting enjoying hearing them talk to each other it's so adorable! and im like I kind of want to have that kind of relationship in the future 9:00 poki is like "what is going on... ha mama's hand, i lick" Also I am not Japanese but I know Japanese to an extent and I also would not mind hearing Jun speak more Japanese, I just find his voice very calming and very nice to listen to both in English and in Japanese and he have so much expression when he speaks in Japanese XD I find it very amusing and I liked it! and I like hearing Rachel speak Japanese too! just like, do a mix of the two languages cuz it's fun!
