Hey Carl, do you still have the butterfly by the side of the house next to your orange dream? Just wondering how it did in that position as I also have one facing east

Did not do well there, but I think it’s down to my very clay soil as much as anything. The orange dream was more substantial when I planted it and I think absorbed water faster, stopping it from being water logged. Having said that the butterfly I have in permanent shade in a pot loves it! Carl

@@Japanesemaples thanks Carl, can you advise on the best position for jerre schwartz please. Is yours pink all summer long as I've read that it goes green in full sun?

@@harveydhillon3682 yes it can go green and I’ve seen this happen at different locations. Mine was pink all year last year as it’s located right in a corner of a North / South fence that then runs East. Basically classic morning sun going to afternoon shade. I’ll upload a video for you in the next day or two. Carl
