My tamukeyama is a beast. At the weekend it was baking it the sun, I was wincing at it, debating if I should move it but it just takes it. My poor Katsura and orange dream look horrific. I thought I would lose the new Taylor I bought but I nestled it next to big daddy tamukeyama and she’s putting on some lovely pink leaves now.

Orange dreams look lovely but I think that for a tree that’s so readily available, they are quite tricky! Glad you found a big brother for Taylor! Carl

My Jordan in the ground is doing well in mostly sun in lower middle Tennessee, USA, but gets some afternoon shade. It has a nice rose flush to it with sun.

My Orange Dream suffers every year! No matter how much it’s watered!

@@robertwhiteley-yv1sy it’s a delicate Acer. Too much wind, it will burn. Too much Sun, it will burn. Perhaps relocate it to a shadier, less windy location.

They certainly are picky, I will upload a video soon of my one in the ground showing it’s location that might help! Carl
