I prefer rectangular shaped breakfast metal boxes especially with handle so usable as a mess tin cooking kit.

Old geezer, retired early in the Republic of the Philippine Islands checking in: We have Daiso of Japan stores at local malls. We are able to find many items such as unbleached paper cone type coffee filters that are not available in local supermarkets. Unfortunately, these are small outpost stores that do not stock the full ranges of products that are stocked in theJapanese stores. Every once in a while, and perhaps by mistake, Beautiful Bride finds a few camping type items when visiting Dasio. There may only be two or three of a single item but she purchases what she finds. We haves some great items such as our stainless steel camp mugs that rest nicely on our DIY alcohol burners as well as our Trangia burners. Beautiful Bride may accept a contract to work in Japan for one to two years later this year.We will see. If we do go there, we will be visiting the Daiso often and sending many boxes back to home base.

After a few months of use, they don’t stay retracted I suggest getting a regular titanium chopstick might not be easy to carry inside the cooking kit, it might be longer and not be able to store inside the cooking kit, but they much durable than these telescopic chopstick, but it’s your choice.
