Regarding Izanagi and Izamani deformed first children. The explanation that Izamani "spoke" first is based on the theory that she actually initiated sexual intercourse first -- which a woman just should not do (in that particular philosophy) .

Nice work, and beautiful pictures! The fire God's drawing looks like a Oni (鬼) of Otsu-e (大津絵) style. What is it called and where did you get it? About the Hiruko (蛭子) - We do not know for sure that it was literally a leach-like child. The parents just said the child was NOT GOOD/WELL. And it was much later around Muromachi period (室町時代) that people started to think the child had become Ebisu (恵比寿).

who is the fire baby?? of izanami why she died?
@kaos23177 жыл бұрын
the baby of fire was Kagu-tsuchi. His mother Izanami died because in Japanese mythology the Kami (Spirits aka Gods by Western interpretation) are not invulnerable as Westerners believe gods to be. Kami have extended lifespans but can die

So how the fuck does Greek mythology and Japanese mythology have similar patterns? Weren't they a little bit far? 1. Either some travellers back then really went out of their way to share stories of divines, or 2. Gods actually did exist and people from different places around the earth recorded them from their prespective.
@PureVikingPowers7 жыл бұрын
All myths comes from Norse and from norse who is the only real religon, but over millions of years every country and people have added their own twist to it and now it's all fucked up! But norse is the closest you could ever get to find out how the universe came into existence and who the real gods are. I am a great great great great greatgreat greatgreat greatgreat greatgreat great (and so on) grandson of Odin himself.

Golden Flame78 is not connected they somehow just use a creature like demon from japanese mythology only the deity they use but the story got nothing to do with history they use the deity i mean to make the story more interesting..like kaguya the rabbit demon and now in boruto nue the chimera and even izanagi and izanami in naruto..that is all the name in japanese mythology deity even kurama the fox demon shukaku the racoon demon and many more..

Truly, all the words of the gods are the same but the words have been obfuscated by the ravages of travel and of time. When you hear all the stories from your cousins before the land was split into islands you can conflate the true story in your mind. When you can see the truth you can also see your enemies for who they are and who your ally are and where they will lead you; it will set you free and put you in bondage to set you free again. Every culture has a piece of a shattered tapestry, we pass it down to our children if they will take it. None of the pieces make a lot of sense. So we weave new tapestries that incorporate the pieces we received from our mothers and fathers and we complete the rest as best we can. But If we take the tales of our mothers and the legends of our fathers, and we combine our shards with all the shards of the world. We can see where the threads match up and where they were severed to make two threads. But as we have two eyes we must look at all the text in a earthly form and in a spiritual form, for those two stories walk side by side on the same words.
