Hey! So I just started collecting japanese cards, specifically booster packs because I love the arts. I wanted to ask you how would go about storing your japanese booster packs? Since they are longer than english booster packs, I really can’t use the one-touch resealable bags, or the tarot card sleeves. Thank you in advance!

Thank you for teaching me the basics of Japanese Pokemon card collecting. I live in Japan and just got into box buying literally two weeks ago. I've come into this scene so late, so I feel quite overwhelmed because of all the different sets out there that exist. Out of all the research I've done through watching videos like yours and others out there, I've decided to really jump into VMax Climax. It seems like this particular set always gets rave reviews from Pokemon content creators. Also, I think that the product is just visually stunning. Anyways, thanks for the crash course. It is definitely appreciated.

The Rebellion Crash Booster Box will have 1 guaranteed SR or higher card in it. The VMAX Special Box packs will be totally random in terms of hit rate!

Hey mate - thanks for the video! I'm just wondering if you have any recommendations for reliable sites in Australia where you can buy Japanese single cards from? I'm keen to dive into buying some Japanese booster boxes but would like to have some certainty that I'll be able to finish sets by buying any missing cards individually.

Hey mate - thank you heaps for watching! Unfortunately, purchasing singles Japanese cards in Australia is pretty difficult. As of now, the regular secondary avenues like eBay are your best bet. There is a small community of Japanese card collectors growing, and there are also avenues to purchase singles from Japan (without using eBay). It's a topic I'm planning to cover in the future! If you wanted to learn more about it in the mean time, feel free to direct message me. Hope that helps!

I'd like to ask the opposite! I live in Tokyo but travel to Australia for work every other month (at least I did pre Covid days) and want to ask where in Sydney to Melbourne I can go to sell Japanese cards?

what are the usuall drops for a high class pack? are they simular to english/worldwide sets?
@okJLUV
@okJLUV 3 жыл бұрын
High Class Packs have 1 SR per sealed box - this could be a FA Pokemon, FA Trainer, Special Art Pokemon, Hyper Rare Pokemon or Gold Pokemon card. There's always a GX or V card inside each pack. Shiny Star V and Ultra Shiny GX always come with 3 'baby' Shinies and 1 V/VMAX/GX Shiny (depending on which box). For Shiny Star V, you also sometimes find an Amazing Rare card, SR Trainer or UR Gold Card in addition to the Shiny cards. Hope that helps!

Just found your page, great stuff loving the content, really. I was wondering, right now I get Japanese booster boxes from $41 to $46. What is distributor and store pricing in Japan?
