The point of ramen isn’t to subdue hunger but rather to share tradition and different tastes of each culture to those around willing to try new things and as for indomie, it’s not even classified as ramen as it doesn’t even have it’s own broth and it’s like calling a chicken melt a grilled cheese or how governments consider things like for example: *The agricultural organization or something like that declared bees as fish! (Like seriously, search it up) *The government just recently declared that hippos can fly just from being off the ground for around 2 seconds and that’s considered flying!?!

IndoeMie is an instant version of a Miegoreng in Indonesia/Malaysia. Stir fried noodle with meat veg popular in that region. It is by no means a "Ramen" ....whatsoever. Is it an "instant noodle"? The first Indomie including the seasoning oil, sweet soy sauce, seasoning powder, chili sauce and fried onion, why you only put the powder in?? The noodle supposed to be in a little black colour because of the soy sauce. You need to put all in the noodle and stir it together before serve it. Goreng means fried in Indonesian. Literally translates to "Noodles Fried" or just fried noodles for anyone else. So it's meant to be an easy way to have fried noodles. You need to mix all the ingredients after you've boiled and dried the noodles. You remove the flavors by adding the packet to wet noodles. If you sprinkle fried onion/garlic (or for some people soft peanuts) on top it's a nice little addition, or a fried egg. But yeah, you're not the first to do it wrong. When I moved to Holland from Indonesia I was amazed that a lot of Europeans did it similar to how you're doing it. Some like the watered down taste, some can't handle the spice unless it's watered down, but the majority just didn't know how to prepare it properly. They just assumed they couldn't get the look of the packet because it's like seeing a Burger King burger in picture form, and then the actual burger not looking as photogenic. But it's really about how you prepare the noodles. It's actually meant to be the same color as it is on the packet.
