This was my first time seeing this, and I don't know what to say. I thought the animation was neat. I liked how they incorporated common shonen anime tropes with references to the original show. The pickles thing was a reference to one of the earliest episodes. That villain character was originally an antagonist who showed up in one episode to order a krabby patty and complained that spongebob forgot the pickles.

Haha😅 this spongebob is too serious for my liking. Not the cute spongebob that I always find funny.😆😆 But it's fine I guess. Praise to the effort of the drawers, voice over actors, etc. etc. 👏👏👏👍👍👍

@@maplechuuni I did get the point of what makes this spongebob funny in a way, but that doesn't change the fact that it IS too serious for my liking. See my comment that states 'Not the spongebob that I ALWAYS find funny'? Although making a 'serious' spongebob is what makes it funny, that humor can be shortlived once I find it too serious as the show (anime) goes on. Don't just assume that I didn't understand it just because of my short - incomplete - comment. AND, don't get me wrong. I'm not angry, I'm just correcting you for your wrong understanding of my comment. 😁 No hate ✌️
