A perfect half boil egg, you need it to put in a small pail and leave the egg at the 70degrees heat well for 30mins. Trust me it will be perfect Onsen Egg!!! Don’t forget to bring soy sauce and pepper!😂

Here's a tip if you want to know if your egg is still raw - Spin it on a flat surface. If the spin is wobbly or slow, that means it's still pretty much raw. If it has a steady spin, then it's cooked, or at least the whites on the outer shell is cooked. Try it next time. =)
Wow that aunty was really friendly HAHHAHAHA coming from a Singaporean. now we all know her daughter's crazy about you. also, enjoy Singapore :)

First video in Yishun: It's dangerous, right? Second video in Yishun: Great food here! Third video in Yishun: Hot spring! Wet market! Duck rice! I'm beginning to see you're loving this town... Btw, I think you should leave the egg in the 70 deg C pool. Ajitama is in boiling water for 7 minutes, so I guess 70 deg C will need a longer time.

Hopefully you will get that egg revenge lol! Another great video covering off the beaten path in Singapore for tourists as well as locals to enjoy and one day experience. Keep it up!
When you take the water out of the tap, the temperature starts to drop. It will take way longer than 10 minutes. May not even cook. You have to immerse your eggs at 70 degrees constantly just like you saw some people do it at 10:45 in your video.

I cant appreciate onsen in a hot and humid singapore! That is crazy! The half boiled egg you have at kopitiam is boiling 100 degree celsius water, the max temp u introduced at sembawang was 70 degree celsius, so obviously you have to cook it longer. Yeah, looking forward to you going back and make a perfect boiled egg! 😘
Great video. Notice you wear the same green shorts in all your videos, would like to hear the story of your green shorts in next video 🤣

Using freshly boiled water is about 8 to 10 mins. That water is at least 90 deg C. When using 70 deg C, you need longer time and perhaps a bigger container to store more heat. Next time get 2 eggs, soak both eggs in a bigger bucket. 1 soak for 15 mins and the next egg for 20 mins.

Perfect Onsen egg needs 63 to 65 degrees for 45 min. By the time you put your egg into your small bucket, the temperature of the water is likely to be less 65 degrees. When the egg is introduced, the temperature plunged. No matter how long you left the egg inside the bucket, it will remain raw. Whatever method you use, the temp needed to be on that region. If 70 degrees, you probably have to keep it there for 10 min or more depending on size of egg.
You can try exploring the sembawang park. There are a lot of colonial houses for you to make videos.

Ghib-san your video is getting better by the day. You bring me to places where I want to go but could never find the time (haha some lousy excuse). Thank you for your high quality video...watching your 17 min video is like watching a 2 min trailer...it was so good and before you know it, it ended...good on you and keep up the good effort.
As a former Chong Pang resident, I can attest to how delicious the duck rice is! Great choice. But my favourite chilli to go with duck rice comes from another duck rice store called Yu Kee Duck Rice. Their duck rice is good too and their dried shrimp chilli is the best! They have a store at Yishun Northpoint too so perhaps the next time you come Yishun, you can try it. Or just order from Food Panda. LOL They also sell their chilli in a jar so you can eat it with anything you fancy at the comfort of your home.

Ghib Ojisan!! In Chong Pang, there is a famous Chong Pang Nasi Lemak, and at Chong Pang food court, there is really good barbecue chicken wings. Also, since Chinese New Year is coming soon, it is going to be really lively until then. If you are lucky, you might be able to catch some lion dance performances. It's also a good chance for you to try Chinese New Year goodies and snacks, like pineapple tarts and arrow root chips or some love letters. Oh and definitely the bak kua and the prawn rolls. Kuih Bangkit is also a pretty famous Chinese new year goodie. You are definitely right, Singaporeans love to eat. AHHAHAHA
