My nephew and his friends were in Hokkaido Japan to ski in January. They loved it. The pictures he took of the mountain from his hotel was so beautiful I kept it as a phone screen saver. Thank you for sharing this information. Take care.

there are many good ski resorts in Honshu!! in Gifu, Nagano, Niigata or also in the northern part like in Aomori!
