For this JAPANESE STREET FOOD series, we are taking you to OSAKA JAPAN to sample the BEST street food that it’s famous for! OSAKA cuisine is very different from Japan’s other cities, like Tokyo or Sapporo or Kyoto. The city is packed with small hole-in-the-wall restaurants and izakayas teeming with delicious FOOD! In this episode, we will be eating ODEN, DOTEYAKI (beef tendon stewed in miso paste - an OSAKA specialty) 970 JYP - 8.86 USD, OKONOMIYAKI (two styles) 2450 JPY - 22.38 USD, Osaka’s famous KUSHIKATSU dipped in ponzu (120 JPY - 1.10 USD per stick) all within the bustling streets of SHINSEKAI, one of Osaka’s older neighbourhood’s with an authentic vibe. There are nearby sights including arcades in the Shinsekai area and the Shitennoji Temple and surrounding garden to escape the craziness of Osaka!
Oden + Doteyaki at NONKIYA
3 Home-4-5 Ebisuhigashi, Naniwa Ward, Osaka
Okonomiyaki at OKONOMIYAKI CHITOSE
1 Home-11-10 Taishi, Nishinari Ward, Osaka
Shitennoji Temple (and surrounding garden)
1-11-18 Shitennoji, Tennoji Ward, Osaka
Kushikatsu at YAEKATSU
3 Home-4-13 Ebisuhigashi, Naniwa Ward, Osaka
We hope you enjoyed this episode featuring some of the best STREET FOOD IN JAPAN. Subscribe to this channel so that you don’t miss out and stay tuned for our next episode from Osaka Japan - we are eating MORE Japanese street food and taking you to some of Osaka’s BEST sights! Thanks for watching!

Hi we’re Luke Martin and Sabrina Davidson, food lovers and world travellers! We make videos about local, authentic and unique foods from across the globe. We particularly like to sample street food across Asia. We are based in Taiwan where we frequent the best Taiwanese street food stops and create travel content to make finding food in Taiwan easier for YOU! Although we are based in Taiwan we travel the majority of the year around the world in search of the best food. We’ve filmed in Japan, China, The Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, Indonesia, India, Vietnam, Turkey, Israel, Lebanon, Palestine, The Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Greece, Sri Lanka, Canada and the list is still growing! Our mission is to create content that is entertaining, informative, honest and fun! We love what we do and we are always grateful for your support! Thank you and see you on the next episode!

Hey y'all! WooHoo I am so excited to see another video from you! Luke, the way you are able to take a bite of food, and then describe it in words amazes me every time. It's almost as though I can imagine how it would taste if I were there in real life! That ability is a gift, and I am so glad I get the opportunity to go on these journeys with Sabrina and yourself. I am certain you study the foods you're going to be trying, as well as the details of the cultures surrounding those foods. I know you put in more work to make your videos factual as well as enticing! I can only imagine how much of your time is spent, not only editing, but making sure you provide the most authentic experiences for those of us who are living our lives vicariously through you. For all of your work, I must say "Thank You!" It is your dedication, and love for what you do, that keeps viewers coming back, and new viewers coming in! Thank you so much again for sharing all of this beauty with the world! As always I will be looking forward to the next adventure! Happy 2020 to you both! I can't wait to see where "we" go in this new decade! Much, Much Love!❤ Amanda

If you come to Japan I suggest you , if you can, also to travel to some out of the mainstream destinations. Recently all the famous spots are packed with tourists so it is difficult to fully enjoy them. However, with just couple of train stops from big cities you can be immersed in countryside Japan that is still able to offer some amazing places to visit and incredible street food!
