Yoshimitsu used some highly advanced mechanical hand that could just spin ridiculously fast on command. They would need some Elon Musk billion dollar level prosthetic hand that could spin so fast the man would levitate but even thats not possible due to physics.

Good job noticing Yoshi going into Kincho (KIN) stance before some of those moves. stances in tekken have a gameplay functionality, some of which is because you can see the animation of the stance itself. Very nice attention to detail!

He pulls that sword because they are attached to his stance in order to access those moves. The stance is called KINSHO in the game. Great video, loved it.

hiya, to the comment on the doushi kiri, that motion is very similar to a moulinet (from fencing) but, added flurish, and higher up and closer than (most of the time its used) in belegarth (foam fighting) you will encounter this technique frequently. Its normally done with a saber, or rapier, so with a wakizashi, or katana like yoshimitsu is using would be harder, and different cuz the different sword weight/balances and sword shape. It has a surprising amount of power behind it(if the wrist/forearm muscles are "fit" enough for the motion) but ive been hit (very) frequently by this technique/equivalent from seasoned belegarth fighters(11 years+ seasoned). so id rate its "power" a 5 out of 10 if used by average/fighter( soo me, XD and im still not good at using it but its good and reliable, and in application not to hard actually, and i use the flourish(like yoshi) cuz it makes "recover easier and smoother after if i miss) and ill admit it looks cool and flashy. ;) mabe 7 if used by a seasoned fighter who uses this frequently. added thing to help understand where the "power" comes from.(mot portrayed well in games/hard to notice. but "in" the flourish before the sword hits theres a little *pop* of the wrist.that adds extra "power" to the strike. and imagine that the first "hit" is where the blade stops, instead of the *hit* swirl *hit* but both swirls have the *pop* in it to direct the strike. and i bring up belegarth(foam fighting) cuz hard shots arent allowed/heavily frowned on. so the "strike" range is even lower/angle is "harsher" so it looks a lot more like the one he is doing here, vs the normal moulinet that strikes for the head/neck/shoulder. and use anime fighters love and use any flourish we can, so looks alot more like this one when used. just amusing thing, on the "techniques" used in the games, vs real applications.cuz in games they swing "real" weapons like they are super light, and they travel ""through" opponents, which is sorta similar to how belegarth is, cuz the foam weapons are super light, so it makes alot of the techniques you see in anime/games much easier to perform than if you were using a real weapon. coming from one who fights as close as i can to this. xD to great/good success much to the "real" fighters chagrin. >:3 great video, was cool to see experts doin the moves and such and their amusement at doing them.
