I love tea and Japanese culture. I'm surprised this search in general doesn't have more views.

Japanese culture: invents an esthetic of transience and imperfection. Me: wow, Japanese culture is so beautiful and contemplative. Also Japanese culture: maybe their personal esthetics were a bit different, anyway 12 years later he ordered him to commit suicide, so that was the end for the greatest tea master ever... Haha, jk. This is a great video and it makes me want to learn more. I feel like a college course could definitely be taught on this.

Amazing response! :-D Thank you for watching! And much agreed, it's sooooo fascinating. College courses could/should be taught! If you're looking for even more details, I also really recommend the book "The True History of Tea" by Mair and Hoh :-)
