Nice to see you guys take up the courage to try durian. Spending RM98 for a sampler set is good as you can taste few premium variety but risky because if you hate the taste of durian then all will be wasted (I have seen foreigners took one bite and throw away the rest)😅. So best just buy one small durian and ask for the sweetest type like Red Prawn because it's easier to eat. The cheaper variety such as Kampung Durian (Village Durian) also worth trying but it's has mixed flavour. I feel alot first timer like to relate the taste of durian to fruitiness because it's a fruit, unfortunately its taste is nothing fruity but more like dry winey taste and with that expectation in mind alot will be turned off by the first bite. Having said that, it's ok if you don't like it, don't force yourself. Some locals still don't like durian also.

It was an unknown taste, so we were a bit nervous. We actually wanted to try eating a whole one, but we didn’t have the courage. However, BB Park was a lot of fun!😊🥰

Their durian platter serving from lightest to strongest is correctly done. I would have also served my friends that way in PJ. Most tourists would have jumped to MK first without trying the others.

It's not wise to pair Durian with any form of beer or liquor because it might be too heavy and heaty for your body. It's better to pour some water on the cask and drink from it to keep your body cool, though.😊

durian got many variant, some are very good and some are bad, its unfortunate for those who tried it for first time and got the wrong durian, they definitely gonna hate durian without knowing they picked the wrong one.

You should try Cempedak.. Same texture with durian, but for me the taste not as good as durian.. But the fruit shape looks like jackfruit.. Also try mangosteen and langsat/duku

As a first timer, not bad to try a bit of each. But some places offer durian buffet for the less expensive variants like red prawn or d24, people can stay and eat a few 1-2kg fruits alone

Arisa Yamanaka from malaypan channel made KZbin short reel on her channel saying if u didnt like durian,just keep trying till u meet one.. on the video clearly made so.. Also dont pair durian + beer ,since durian heats up ur body temperature from inside as beer also do,so pairing them up is a bad idea..

As your beginner durian experience, just observe Malaysian little kids take durian. Even a first try, those little fella don't know what it means smelling so weird or taste badly. They just enjoy till the durian seed shining on and finger licking good ..

It is ok. Some Malaysians don’t eat durian at all. Anyway, do not eat durian with beer or alcoholic drinks. It may be harmful due to chemical reactions in your belly.

For your info eatting durian do not drink with Alcohol or any Gas Drink, best is water and Drink water using the skin, also best with coconut water.

For the first starter don't smell. U just need to taste not smell. When U smell that is why U can't eat. Because the taste and smell is opposite.

Meat? Hambuger? Hahahahahaha First time I heard it that instead of rotten onion, dirty sock or some kind of garlic etc. But actually you cannot describe it on whatever it is. You will don't like it for the first time. There is a technique to taste it and later you will come again cause you will addicted to it.

And no, you don't eat durian and beer🍺.. The fruit itself is hot and has alcohol in it.. So if you eat a lot of it, you would get drunk..literally..And also it's not good for pregnant women.
