The last one was the most interesting! I think it would be great, because it's very hot in England right now, but I still want to eat miso!

Yea! That's the perfect bowl for hot summer. Please give it a try 🥰

Another great clip, Sayaka. Interesting with the historical info etc. As you may recall we lived in Fukuoka for years and also travelled all over Kyushu. Yes, okinawan style often uses eggs in the stir fry. I like to make chanpuru with goya - bitter gourd, but not with corned beef or SPAM, but with pork belly and no sugar. Their red miso fermented tofu with awamori is very good, like a fine French dessert cheese. The awamori with a snake is horrible :-)) The chicken tempura from Oita looks great. Saga prefecture also produce wagyu beef just as good as Kobe beef etc. but a bit pricey ofc. One eats well in Kagoshima, it is a pretty city and they also produce high quality sake. In Fukuoka we made chicken sukiyaki or chicken nabe a million times both at home and at my gf´s mother´s home. Yes, with tofu and also enokitake, often ate with green chili yuzu kosho. The last cold soup is very nice with rice or cold noodles. It can be very warm in Miyazaki, well in the rest of Kyushu too. Miyazaki is also known for their very good chicken. Grilled mackerel is always good, especially for breakfast. Arigato!

Awamori with a snake is horrible 🤣 You know a lot of good food in different parts of Kyushu. There are many delicious foods in each region. I hope to be there someday and enjoy it as much as you do.

Okay, so I plan to watch the video in full, but before I forget, I wanted to suggest attempting meals that are flavorful but are lower on sodium! You don't have to, of course, but it would be an interesting thing to try because I know Japanese cuisine is often salty, and while I love many Japanese dishes, the saltiness makes my feet swell, so it would be cool to see how some of these work with lower sodium ^__^

❤Pork♥︎ beef♥︎ fish♥︎ are more than essential to live well. I have not thought fruit(raw tomato)and rice together. It is so similar with receiving present putting by choosing what filling🍚 over rice. I really think nice fried food's abundance in Japan so i could have learned how to make batter very gladly from. ●^_^● [ "❤Arigatou" ]

Looks good as always. Do you have a name for butcher shop? I am in Tokyo and would love to get s chunk of meat that then I can break down into the pieces I like. Also where did you get your iron egg fry pan I like that over non-stick.
@JapaneseCookingChannel4 ай бұрын
Thanks! The butcher shop is privately owned and operated by an elderly couple. I think most supermarkets in Japan sell chunks of meat. I bought the iron frying pan at Rakuten online shop. item.rakuten.co.jp/goodlifeshop/st76751/

Thanks for that I just ordered the pan. As far as I have seen has not been what I would call chunks. I am use to taking a half or whole pork belly and then breaking it down or like a 2 kg short loin, brisket, large primal cut, etc. Many times big chunks save me money and time not needing to go to the store as often. Thanks again!

Oh You ordered the pan! Hope you like it :) In Japan, you may be able to order chunks of meat from a small, privately owned meat store, or from a meat specialty store in the basement of a major chain department store. 2 kg may be difficult to find in Japan as there is not much culture to buy it, but I hope you can get the meat you want.
