Nene comforts Ai, who is depressed because Shabani is angry with her⭐️Gorilla parent and child

Shabani sees him near Kiyomasa and is furious.
Ai climbs on top of the room but seems depressed and does not play with Annie.
Then Nene, who was worried about Ai, rushed to her.
Nene snuggles next to Ai for about an hour.
When they went downstairs, the scene where Nene touched Ai to cheer her up was very touching.
※Regarding Kiyomasa, we have not confirmed any behavior since he uploaded a video of him going into heat to Ai.
However, he has been acting persistent with Ai one or two days a week.
*It may be more frequent than this as I only watch it in the morning.
As for Ai's physical condition, his appetite is eating normally and his weight has not changed, but we are concerned that we have not been able to confirm that he is playing happily with Annie.

I feel the responsible step right now would be to remove Kiyomasa from the group. He is completely disrupting the group dynamics. Yes, he is getting along with his dad. However, Shabani was injured, Ai has been injured multiple times now, and Nene was thrown onto the ground. This is concerning, especially since I know about Gyasi passing away from a sepsis infection (the gorilla Tayari's mom). If the zoo wants to keep Kiyomasa, he desperately needs his own bachelor pad area or a whole new area to himself. He's constantly harassing Ai and Annie to mate with him and gets frustrated when it doesn't happen. I honestly think the best thing to do in this situation would be to contact the San Diego Zoo to find out how they handle their male gorilla situation. They have an old silverback named Winston who has gotten attacked by his adopted son Frank. Frank has been attacking him, so they had to make a bachelor pad area for Frank (and Monroe, Winston's biological son), so he can go to his bachelor pad area when he needs to. I believe he is allowed to come back to the family area sometimes as well.

I wish everyone knew the empathy and compassion these beautiful souls feel for one another. Many don't know how Gorillas share so many of our feelings and emotions. I agree, but I think the problem is, is that Shabani did let him know it wasn't okay. It is probably what started that huge family fight recently. Shabani doesn't feel he can do anything with both his wives getting upset every time he tries to discipline Kiyomasa, so he has no choice but to discipline his wives. I don't think it's fair, but he's also in a tough position with his wives. Nene gets upset about it and gets Ai involved. Kiyomasa in my opinion needs to be moved to his own bachelor pad area and they need to make another area in the zoo for him if they plan to keep him.

Not mating. Its pseudocopulation which Ai has done that same thing with Annie, and Nene. It's just a submissive thing. If Ai was actually mating with Kiyo, Shabani would not tolerate that from Kiyo at all. Pseudocopulation is still suggestive tho, it's nowhere near mating still.

I believe that Ai made too much direct eye contact with Shabani, which is considered a sign of aggression among gorillas. Shabani didn't start pounding the door again until Ai made direct eye contact with him around 5:09.

Ai does not breed with Shabani because of her mother period! The blah blah blah she is sweet good mother BS . If Shabani would trying to correct Kiyo, she would coming at him like crazy and consequently would disrupt the troop like she did last time and cause another big raucous and her spaced daughter would be right at her side… the zoo is wrong to base Shabani’s breed plans on her die , instead they should have her move to another zoo with her son.

Thank you for all your comments. As for Ai, he ate a lot of food today as usual. As for Kiyomasa, he may be hungry before breakfast, but he was chasing other family members except Shabani. We will upload more information about this situation.

I think it’s a problem with the translator app itself. There are errors translating the differences between English and Japanese languages. I’ve written in English “he, she, her and him” and translated it to Japanese but when I translate it back to English all the pronouns are now “I”. I’ve noticed gender identification by some bi-lingual commentators but it doesn’t seem to just identify gender but age and even social status.

Nene is the actual issue lol. The zoo has kept her alive for likely 10 years past her normal life span and her desire or ability to breed. . And she is the alpha female. Her daughter will not supplant her of course and no female will be introduced that would. So the silverback has a son he cannot deal with, because Nene will bring Ai into support her son and they have turmoil for weeks. This has already played out. They seemingly have no place available in all of Asia to put bachelor gorillas because both Kiyomasa and Gentero should be in bachelor quarters already.
