I can even begin to understand how mind numbingly bored these majestic beings are its quite apparent to see just how emotionally starved they are just consider what alife in a beautiful jungle foraging making nest always doing something to now living in a concrete/metal cage with no tree's and we call them the animal!

Shabani was checking the wound on Kiyo's right thigh, you could see it when Kiyo got up.

Kiyo is walking around like he is the silverback. I heard Ai has friend zoned Shabani and this may be part of why. Shabani is so loving, but he does need to let Kiyo know who the silverback is. Perhaps the wound on his thigh was from Shabani disciplining him and Kiyo is still in a huff about it. That would be less worrisome. Perhaps Shibani is being reconcilable to Kiyo hence the grooming. But I think it could be a bit submissive (not sure) and if it is Kiyo will only get more arrogant with his dad. Could be wrong about observations. One day if he has a chance to have his own family, Kiyo will be a loving, wonderful silverback because he does have a great dad. Most teenagers go through an insufferable stage.
