@@Full_of_Tarkus Black Knife Tiche, easy. She's cool and dodgy and shoots debuffing burn blasts when she's not flipping out slashy style. And has loads of health. Yeah, okay, so she also costs, like, 120 focus or something... UNLESS you put a "zero FP cost for a little while" tear to your physick flask, put it and Tiche's ashes on the quick select, chug before mist door, then bingle the bell the moment you're in the boss arena (or other hazardous ash-monument area). Granted, I've tried almost none of the summons. Some might be objectively better, but I just like Tiche and we were totally battle sisters out there, after the four or five hours it took me to beat up her mom in the Ringleader's Evergaol. Which, y'know, there is that also. And the getting there requires some of Ranni's quest line. But one does not play Souls games without some admission that "Yeah, at some point, I'm probably gonna have to wiki how the frigging quest progressions are done." I mean, who among us has never read that stuff and at least briefly thought "Okay, so that NPC is now THERE... how was I supposed to know that? Ride literally all around the world after every progression beat or two?!" Anyway, it's all good. Summon whoever you like, good folks!

0:08 Welcome back to Caelid. We are now at the exit of Deep Siofra River. You can only get here from Deep Siofra. 0:11 At the sites of grace you replenish your flasks with health and mana. Here it's the latter as obviously Carbot plays a mage here. 0:13 Run. Runebears are not worth fighting. Although I don't remember if they spawn there. 0:18 In the canyon you will find yourself in you will face 2 Golem archers on your way to nearby arena. They are pretty slow, but be careful, their arrows pack a punch. 0:21 But they do have friendly fire on. 0:24 In the game itself they wont care and will keep on trying to kill you. Better deal with them, but these ones from what I remember are tougher than usual ones. 0:28 When you get to the arena you will be met with him. Many call this thing God and I can see why, but honestly there is no explanation as to what it is. It's just called Great-Jar and that's I guess all you need to know. 0:35 There is something called Great-Jar challenge. You need to beat 3 invaders in a row. Those are not real players though, but from what I know their designs are influenced by other players sometimes. So it varies how badly you will be broken at the end of it. Honestly if there were covenants this would be a good place to make one. Make yourself warrior of the Jar and be summoned here sometimes to beat challengers, but alas... From just couldn't bother with them anymore and judging from how barebones they already were in DS3 it may be for the better, but I will miss them. 0:39 Pretty much 0:43 First challenger. Double Giant Crusher and Radahn Armor. Daring today aren't we? 0:45 You can only hit them once they finish being summoned so your window for potential backstab is not very large. How to make out the timing? Trial and error. Also if you die you have to beat the Arrow Golems again. Have fun. I didn't. 0:49 A mage with a Black Blade armor. Again. Daring today aren't we? 0:52 A mage with Twinsage Glintstone crown. Good luck. 0:53 Carbot here uses Flame of the Fell God. VERY slow fireball attack that is best used on slow opponents that want to get hit, otherwise it's a bit underwhelming. You can get it from beating Adan, Thief of Fire, one of the minibosses from Evergaols and him you can find in Southern Liurnia. This is also an attack Fire Giant graciously was or will be abusing you with. 0:54 And Twinsage uses Azure Comet. Far more powerful spell that is basically a kamehameha, it is also slow to charge, but it is VERY devastating. My advice? Use it with a Flask with Teardrop that gives you unlimited mana for a few seconds and attack with it. You will erase whatever stands in your way with it or at least hurt it pretty bad. 0:58 Your spells can also hurt you. Have fun. 1:01 Naked guy with claws and Albunaric Head. Very fun. Those are Hookclaws I think this invader uses and this Instant Transmission is Quickstep. Or those could be Bloodhound Claws which have Bloodhound Step on them, a more powerful version of Quikstep with greater range that makes you invisible as well. 1:04 And here is the strategy that 99% of people use after 3rd time dying to this damn challenge. There is a tree on a cliff nearby this area and you can climb on it after summoning one of those NPCs and get them to jump to their death. Abuse it. 1:19 Spells such as those magic swords I think can still hit you after caster dies. Better watch out. Especially when you are so close to falling to your death. Also you cannot die before killing all 3 or you need to do this all over again. 1:27 Now this colosseum works as arena for PVP. Previously it was just empty. 1:31 Your reward is a talisman called Great Jar Arsenal. It increases your equip load by 19% and is basically Havel Ring of this game. Havel being a VERY tough NPC from Dark Souls 1 who had tendency to pancake new players with his giant that had unfortunate fate of stumbling upon him and his Dragon Tooth he used like a hammer, but he could be nicely killed by parying or backstabbing him and you could get his ring which increased your equip load by whopping 50% and made builds such as legendary Giant Dad a reality. Why do you need to know that? You don't.
