The whole band is top notch, of course, and the two other violinists are excellent, but Lakatos somehow takes violin playing a stage beyond. It's as if the others are playing the notes but he brings the notes to life. Quite extraordinary.

Incredibil ce ton poate avea între minutul 26:15 și 27:30!😇🥇E stil de jazz, dar atâta control are la instrument, încât zici că nu e vioară! Fenomenal! Parcă e un scârțâit ușor de ușă, ori un cântec cântat ușor la frunză sau un ton înfundat de trompetă! Un nivel interpretativ lângă perfecțiune! Roby Lakatos e un geniu, care știe cum să transmită în orice mod! Nu sunt epitete suficiente pentru a elogia arta creată de acest om!!!❤❤❤

Please, with all respect for your opinion, listen between 26:15 and 27:30! I think nobody in the WORLD could do that tone better, in jazz style on violin! It sounds like is not a violin! It sounds like a leafe tone or a small trumpet! That needs musical feeling and a lot of study, beyond huge talent! I think Roby Lakatos is like the finest old wine! Accents and pizzicato are his masterpieces! GENIUS!❤❤❤
