Ive never said anything like this but the past 2 weeks goff has a good argument for best qb in the league. The ball placement is impeccable. They said the arm cant keep up with jamos speed. There was a 65 yard bomb he threw the ball to jamo against the bills that he put in the perfect freaking spot, jamo dropped it and there was a holding call. Connected this week. Those balls hit him in stride in a way that would be hard to do playing against air. The pass to amon ra that went for a 60 yard td against the bills is a ball youre not supposed to throw but he put it in the only spot that ball can be. You dont have to know ANYTHING about football and see those throws and say "holy freaking shit that was impressive."

Strangely enough I was thinking earlier that the Lions have at least 3 players who are Hall of Fame caliber. I said the exact same thing about Goff. If he can keep this up for about 4 more seasons it would help his case. Getting a Bowl would definitely help him too.

Jared Goff has a 112.2 passer rating. Josh Allen has a 101.2 passer rating, and Jared Goff is better in every passing statistic except interceptions along with a better record. I've never heard ANYONE talk about not giving someone an MVP, because "they have a stacked team". No one talked about how stacked Aaron Rodgers teams were any time he won an MVP or Peyton Manning or Tom Brady or Kurt Warner. They just said" they had great years." The only reason you bring that up is because you think the quarterback isn't that good and don't want to give him any credit for his statistics.

They invented the Quarterback rating to assess the entirety of a quarterbacks contribution because the uninformed and impressionable are clueless. Josh Allen leads the entire league in Quarterback rating.

I’ll go a step further, I think not only Goff but Dan Campbell! If the Lions continue to have winning seasons and win a Super Bowl, Campbell definitely gets a Hall Of Fame nod. His impact on this franchise is historic!! Everybody sees it!

Yet the other Jared is just as good if not better he’s just not a scrambling qb so I’d argue he’s better because he’s pass first and pass second never run 😂. And HES BEATEN NFC TEAMS Week after week. Just don't understand how you could pump up Goff having impressive numbers in a Los when he was down 21 and then when Caleb had impressive numbers in a loss when he was down by 20 you turn around and say oh well that was just a function of the defense backing off they say both things in the same segment and don't even acknowledge the hypocrisy 🤷🏿‍♂️

We don't know how the next five years play out, but I doubt Goff makes the Hall of Fame. To me he is the modern version of Ken Anderson, an excellent and remarkably accurate QB who didn't make the Hall despite great numbers. Being a top 10 quarterback a million years in a row isn't valued as highly as being a popular MVP candidate for five or six seasons.

Cool conversation. This year is his best year and probably the only year that is a MVP worthy season. Burrows has better numbers than him and he is on a much worse team. So just make sure that if you're clamoring about HOF, you mention all the other QB's who are playing better than him. 😂

First off u wrong this would be his second time as a MVP candidate, he was also one when he was with the rams. Second his numbers in Big games is amazing when it matters. He also turned around two franchises at an elite level. Right now he is not a HOFER but he is on pace to become if he continues at this level. Goff is elite where ever he play at, everybody talks about how good of an OC Ben is. He was a nobody until he got a elite QB like Goff to bring out the best of each other.

Clearly, the people who picked didn't think he was worthy otherwise he would've won. Like I said I believe this is his best year and it is MVP worthy but he still trails at least 3 other quarterbacks lol. Yet another year where he probably won't get it. So again, HOF talk needs to stop immediately.
