I don't normally post comments on KZbin but this is one of those times when I feel like I have to. Linkin Park played a huge role in helping me get through some of the darkest times of my life, and I'm sure a lot of other people can relate and were deeply saddened when Chester passed away. I think it's extremely disrespectful that MTV cut this tribute short. Chester didn't deserve this, his family didn't deserve this, his friends didn't deserve this, Linkin Park didn't deserve this, and neither did their fans.

I'm a crier and even though chester and linkin park's music in general helped through my teenage anxiety and depression stage in my life, I couldn't cry when Chester died. I've never lost anyone very close to me and though it sound corny or cliche, I felt like I Knew what it felt like through his death. It's among the worst pains there is. Leto's words were thoughtful and beautiful, and I'm glad he mentioned Chris. Both are huge losses to the music industry. I can't believe Soundgarden, a band that had a HUGE impact on MTV, was not mentioned by name once.

Chester meant so much to people...i miss him very much....i cry when i hear one more light and when i sing his lyrics its completely different. I will never accept this NIGHTMARE. I can't stomach that we do not have these types of bands on the MTV music awards anymore:( No Grunge classics, No True Rock bands.. Saddens me.
