Jared's energy is off the charts, and his story of auditioning for SNL is amazing. Your comment that he outsmarted everyone else was perfect. Take care, all the best.

About the modeling stuff etc... When I was 11 my father got me a 1 volume knob epiphone 5 watts combo and a gibson melody maker two pickups. I then got ts9 and that was my rig for 10 years enough for small jams. It served me well! While my friends were twisting knobs on their modeling stuff I was just PLAYING. This simple amp and simple guitar taught me dynamics and using the volume and tone knob.

For analog delay, I think the DOD rubberneck is the most underrated pedal out there. Before (or in addition to) you spend $500 on the DMM, spend $120 or so on a used rubberneck. Not saying it’s the same, but you’ll be glad you have it.

Exactly what Jared said!!! I have played guitar for 30+ years but don't really know the differences between the different Fenders and Marshalls. I am embarrassed but I don't know what a "Plexi" is and why it is different than a JMC800. I know the difference between a Deluxe and Princeton and a Bassman . . . but a Vibrolux vs. Super Reverb etc.

I think it’s hilarious Rhett constantly throws around this buzzword “hired gun” and views himself as such. There’s a big difference between being hired to be in a couple of bands, or getting emails to record something after you’ve gained a KZbin following, in contrast to being an actual session musician. You’re not a hired gun Rhett. Those guys have more than two credits on all music. Please stop.
