The issue is not that she sang it flawlessly. It’s that this is her arrangement, her musicality, and her incredible skill at interpreting lyrics better than anyone I’ve ever heard. And also, when Angelina covers a song, she never tries to sing it better than the original singer. Her version always pays respect to the original singer, but she doesn’t compete because her arrangements and her interpretations are uniquely hers. As you watch more, you’ll see the reason why many of us think she’s the best we’ve ever heard. You compared her to Michael Jackson. He was spectacular, but he was the King of Pop. Angelina sings jazz, blues, pop, soul, ballads, r&b, and even country and a little gospel. She covers them with incredible authenticity, you always get her unique arrangement-and she kills them all. Here’s a little advice: don’t start saying that what you heard is your favorite Angelina song because she will stun you with the next one, and the next one. Want to see Angelina do something no one else could even attempt? Watch her demolish another genre with her jazzy cover of Billie Jean.

Guys, I have watched literally thousands of reactions over the past 3 or 4 years on KZbin. I can say without a doubt that you are the finest, most professional, thorough, and articulate commentators I've ever seen on here. Your attention to detail and understanding the artist and the person is almost incomprehensible. Simply said, you get it! As you well know, there is so much more in this rabbit hole to explore. For recommendations, there are so many videos from the past when she was younger and then there are several originals. Originals I would recommend are shield, what is life, and a million miles. Live performances always preferred. You said you already have some ideas going forward so I am sure you know what you are doing. Kudos guys for a job more than well done. Remember; she was 13 years old at the time of this performance, and she does her own arrangements. It is not just her voice it is her total presents as a living being that is beyond greatness. Oh, did I mention she was Norway's youngest author, she is a composer, she plays piano, guitar, flute, and violin. I don't believe prodigy is a good enough word to describe Angelina Jordan.

FYI, Angelina wrote this arrangement. She has been writing the arrangements to the covers she sings since she was seven years old. Angelina wrote four songs and recorded them by the time she was twelve years old. She speaks four languages, plays four instruments and she was the youngest Norwegian citizen to have written a book and had it published. She was nine years old when she wrote her book. Angelina has toured Europe, sung for dignitaries and royalty. She has been singing in front of large crowds since she was seven years old. She auditioned for Norway’s Got Talent at seven years old. She had just turned eight years old when she won the competition. She has a catalogue of over 150 cover and original songs. She signed with Republic Records in Novemeber, 2020. Angelina is a divine gift to mankind and, yes, she can change the world. She is a bona fide musical genius. Every one of Angelina’s devoted angels, (That’s what she calls her fans) will tell you that she profoundly changed our lives for the better from the very first time we heard her sing. Angelina is a living legend and there is no other young female artist like her. Angelina is unique and she travels in her own lane. She just turned sixteen years old on January 10, 2022. She is the the best female vocalist I have ever heard. Period.

I am so glad you guys went and listened to Queen. You have to realize that people my age grew up with singers and bands that really sang. They did not rely on the production making them sound good. Freddie was the master of the stage. He was and still is the best front man ever! Angelina is such a breath of fresh air because she actually can sing. She doesn't just mimic, she makes these songs her own. This girl can sing anything she wants!!!! I believe she has forced so many to go back and hear the grandfathers of music! They are the history and shapers of music. they honored those before them and built on those and it shows in their music. Most singers now have no idea where they came from or where they are going. They hadn't ever realized what music is and can be. I hope as they go forward they will commit themselves to making good music that stands the press of time

You can tell Angelina loves to sing and embody the music, so many of todays singers want to belt everything, you do not have to be loud to get people to listen, you just have to show you understand the feeling behind the song and truly feel it. You are right our human body runs on vibration and sound waves so when someone has the ability to sing pure, no auto tune or manipulation our body feels it to our soul.

The most amazing, spot-on moment of ANY REACTION I've seen came when you asked the most important question that I believe any of Angelina's angels can ask themselves. You asked, "This is her purpose. No doubt about it. What is my purpose . . . What is your purpose?" It's been said many times "We need more people like Angelina in this world!" Well, let's not wait for them to magically appear. We angels can actually be those people by taking the time to identify *_our purposes_* in life and living them to the fullest. That, I feel, is Angelina's greatest gift to us.

I was one of those young people hearing this for the first time, but you have to understand, the 70s were FILLED with great music, so it wasn't all that shocking. A large percent of that music is still played today, or bands are doing other versions of songs from back then. Music from 50 years ago that have stood the test of time, and are STILL played today in may forms. I have a vinyl album collection of over 500 albums, and 95% of it is from the mid 60s and 70s. Until I heard Angelina Jordan, I didn't think I would hear anyone come close to the music from back then, but this young lady catches my interest with everything she sings, and has introduced me to songs I would have otherwise never known.

The jury is too close for the onset of emotion, it washes over them and they sit there slack jawed in awe. Joni Mitchell sang ‘Love is touching souls, surely you touched mine’ and so it goes for art as well and with her singing Angelina touches your soul. As you will go through her widely and wildly varying catalogue of performances, one thing you can be sure of and one thing only, is that you will be surprised at every turn. Quincy Jones called her the biggest talent since MJ. Sit back, relax and enjoy the ride! You will see and find out that she is a true, genuine, kind, caring person. She performs barefoot to draw awareness for poor children (longer story there) and has participated in many good cause events.

when she sang I don't wanna die, I felt this is a little girl, what does she know about life and sufferings, but she sounded so honest , so real here that it seems like she sang from her truth. Amazing. Flawless rendition.

Ken When she performed on AGT, she wasn't a little girl; she was close to 6 feet. Her maternal grandfather was in the hospital dying (he passed away a few weeks later). She lost her friend Avicii to suicide and her paternal grandfather, who she dearly loved, the year before. I think that's plenty of suffering for this 13 year old.

This is my 3rd review of Angelina you guys have done. I’ve watched a bunch of others and I really like how you research both the original artist. Love your creation of the angel Genre, so on point. I’ve now subscribed! (AGT was the the first time I heard of Angelina and was in awe and immediately hooked). Ps I was a young teen in the 70’s and we all had such fun memorizing This very long song. Bohemian Rhapsody is an iconic work, which enchants the world to this day. Freddy Mercury is considered "The highest quality voice" of all time, where scholars describe the incredible technical qualities observed in the timbre, power, resonance and unique harmonic characteristics! Angelina came to write her artistic history through all her natural qualifications. We believe that she really can change the world. She is a gift to humanity.

Queen has so many good song. I am sure you have heard the song or samples of We Will Rock You\We Are the Champions. They, like Angelina, could really do anything. They have near speed metal songs, rock songs, ballads and even a club song. Freddie is one of the best to ever do it. Him and Prince may be the most musically inclined people in the 20th century

Hi Gents, YOU are the best reactors and researchers I have stumbled upon on YT. Kudos, As for Freddie Mercury, he was a big hearted man, loving women and men and a genius to boot. Fighting against the boring music Industrie. One of his most famous sentences shortly before his death was: You can do whatever you want with my songs, But don´t make them BORING. Angelina got great response from the surviving QUEEN, they posted her rendition on Queens Twitter account and praised her. Stay safe and healthy, Greetings from Germany

Your comment about Angelina changing the world makes sense because I know several of her fans have said that before they write a comment that could be considered mean, they stop and think, “Angelina wouldn’t like that.” They then phrase their comment in kinder language. That’s a change the world can use. Thank you for the time and effort you put into making these videos. Angelina’s fans appreciate it. You do great work.

How can she take an original song that was a great hit and make it so much better than it was ever performed in the past? She is a talent that is so great and unlike anything we have ever experienced. I have experienced all the greats in my 74 years, but none come close to Angelina Jordan. Bohemian Rhapsody! If you think this is great you should have heard the rendition that was done on her Christmas Show on the 23rd. She does have perfect tone and could have song the whole song A cappella

If you want to hear music listen to anyone. If you want to feel it listen to Angelina. You have a lot of catching up to do if you decide to follow this girl and it would be a mistake in my opinion not to. Not just a great artist but an even greater Human Being! Hang on. Her angels will soon fill you in on her incredible journey & accomplishments When you react to Bohemian Rhapsody take notice during her performance they highlight audience members in the front row. That is Angelina's Family. From left to right Her uncle and manager Michael Astar, her little sister Juliette, her mother Sarah Astar and her grandmother Mery Zamani. Notice her little sister crossing her fingers as the performance starts and later her mother wipe tears from her eyes. Also remember she said she had waited 10 years to sing for Simon. When she was 3 years old she was begging her mother to go on 'that Simon show'. A child prodigy who started singing Whitney Houston at 1 & 1/2, Won Norways Got Talent at 8 yrs old singing Billy Holiday's 'Gloomy Sunday', 'I'm a Fool to Want You' a cappella, 'Bang, Bang' by Nancy Sinatra and 'Summertime' by George Gershwin! She fulfilled one of her childhood wishes when she sang for the Nobel Peace Prize Concert at 8, her second wish that you soon watch was to sing for that 'Simon Show" that she expressed at 3 yrs old when she sang on America's Got Talent 'The Champions' at 13 yrs old singing the most beautiful rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody ever created! She has sung for Quincy Jones & Barak Obama among many others and raised millions for Children Charities and Climate Change! No theatrics here, simply the most soulful interpretation of a song and an ability to convey that emotion right down to your very soul! She has made many grown men cry! Buckle up, you're going to need it! She is 16 as of Jan 10th this year and has just released her second original with Republic Records after being protected to allow her to grow up and when they got a deal that gave her 100 % control over her art. The true GOAT in my opinion! She was 9 when singing a song by Screamin Jay Hawkins on the candle from 1956. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pKipnaJ5hb2tedU She started studying all the Greats of Jazz at 3yrs old on u-tube. What little girl studies Jazz at that age? The one & only Angelina Jordan, The Velvet Voice of the Barefoot princess of Jazz! I would love to see you start with one of her most recent. Her cover of 'When You Believe' by Whitney Houston and Mariah Carie. Watch the studio version first if you haven't seen it. One of her Best! Never one to show off this simple beautiful rendition shows her mindset in approaching her music. Nothing theatrical, just soft Velvet perfection! kzbin.info/www/bejne/q3LPh61_bZJonrM Also if you loved Amy Winehouse, Check out one of my favorites 'Valerie' with her having fun with her sister Juliet on Venice Beach. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qaLQe3-hnNBlf80 Perfect again! After that I'ld use Rusty Schackelford's Chronological playlist and jump around to those you are familiar with. Easy On Me' Adele. kzbin.info/www/bejne/g6HaZoRta82Kjac 1 week ago. MUST SEE! SummerTime' George Gershwin kzbin.info/www/bejne/mJ_Td6Z5g7CtfMk 8 yrs old Winning performance on Norways Got Talent. MUST SEE! 'What a Difference a Day Makes' kzbin.info/www/bejne/kITJmHZ_fMlqoZY. 8 yrs old after having won Norways Got Talent. My Fav of all performances when she was young. MUST SEE! For a 13 year old to create such a genius arrangement then deliver a vocal performance which has to rank among the all time best, is just mind-blowing. Here is the story of why Angelina always performs barefoot. At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes. Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true. Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate. At age 9, she became the youngest published author in Norway’s history by writing a book about this encounter in the Middle East. I encourage everyone to go to Angelina's official website and purchase the book. Angelina did a interview at age 9 when her book was published and here is a link to that interview. She reads from her diary at the end of the interview. Keep in mind she wrote the diary entry at age 6. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y5SmfXePZaiGkJo Angelina sang a short but awesome version of "Unchained Melody" on that TV show with the interview. Here is the link to the song. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eGjPc6iObrd9ra8 The interview and song together make for a great reaction.

I discovered Angelina right after her first performance on NGT. I have watched every performance she has done since then hundreds of times. I doubt if I have missed more than a handful of reactions over the years. That's thousands!!! Where does this reaction rank in all those reactions? In the top five? Oh, yes! In fact #ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love the way you guys "do your homework" before! Because most of her covers have been songs from the second half of the 20th century (50s - late 90s), many (maybe most) young people do not seem to "get it"; they don't seem to understand what a huge and wonderful musical talent she is. If it is not made by electronics they just do not understand it, nor appreciate raw vocal talent. My hope is that eventually young people will learn that a voice like Angelina's that has not been autotuned can be something not only beautiful, but something that can bring out feelings and emotions that one did not even know existed; something that can help one understand life, love, respect, happiness, kindness, sadness, and desires!
