I can't make out these notes completely but it seems like it's around D2. The background actually also features a passage that goes up to A5, but it's even less audible in the clip, a better quality can be heard here kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z4mun6qtf5ejndU, the A5 is at 2:55 4:16 "Awaken from the Dark Slumber (Spring)" spoken lines all on C#2! 4:37 Eb2s and C2s from "Eternal Darkness (Autumn)" in the first clip, and in the 2nd clip also weak vocal fry notes down in the 1st octave, again unsure of the exact pitch of the fry notes but again we hear Eb2s and C2s. 5:36 Lowest notes ever heard from Jari, sounding almost peter steele-ish, vocal fry reaches down to D1. Difficult to pitch precisely because of all the effects and the mixing but the lines definitely reach notes up to C5 several times. A fantastic vocal performance. Around the middle of the clip there's also an F5 in the backing vocals but it sounds pitch-shifted so idk 10:00 a C#5 from the ending of the Ensiferum track "Slayer of Light". Powerful! 10:10 backing harmonies of "Sons of Winter and Stars", with a goude D5-C5-D5 dip. 10:26 Backing vocals again, this time in "Beautiful Death", starting the line at D5 before dropping to C5. The next clip features C#5 and C5 from the same song 10:47 The climax of "Time" with an insane D5 and C5 after a short Eb5. One of my favourite vocal moments from Jari 11:05 Chorus of "Way of the Fire" with a short but intense D5 in the background! 11:29 We can't forget about Jari's falsetto. Reminds me of King Diamond (pls notice the epic foreshadowing) 16:10 The backing vocals of "Lai Lai Hei" reaching F#5 16:30 a screamed E5 followed by another screamed G5 in "Fly Into the Sky", Jari's highest distorted note. 17:00 "Way of the Fire" backing vocals. I actually never noticed these notes until making this video and paying closer attention. There's definitely some insane vocals going on the in the backing harmonies that are barely audible here (are played back with the rest of the orchestration) After about a thousand listens, I think they top at G5, but can't wait to hear these on the album! They would be Jari's highest sung notes! 17:37 Jari Diamond! Jari's highest notes! G#5s and a G5 from this clip. Wow, thank you so much for your enormous work, collecting all these vocal samples! Btw, what is that cover when Starchild is playing? Never seen that one before :D I guess it must be a fan-created cover, still it was unknown for me. Edit: I know nothing about drums, but my guess on note 18:18 would be and ASSb. I heard some drummer guys talking about a Legendary note which is heard only once at the end of an almost 20 minutes long educational video. Maybe I've just heard two legends in this vid!

I found the base for it on deviantart, hence the author's signature. But I did some edits in photoshop and added the logo so I can use it as my phone wallpaper well I've heard another legend about the note. Many eons ago, before the existence of Time, there was a god that found himself as the only thing in existence. He feels lonely but instead of creating anyone or anything to keep him company, he feels like the feeling of loneliness is a much deeper emotion and thus sets a sequence of events in motion to create a vast endless universe devoid of sentient life, and thus he explores his own creation and gets bored so one day, this god, Jari, created Teemu in his own image. He gave him epic cheekbones and lush hair and heavenly skills to play the lute. And he looked at him and he saw that it was goude. It is said that jukka was created when jari accidentally got his testicles stuck in the seat of the sauna from the sweat, pulling on them, that caused him to shout in pain, but the shout came out as a very low growl that shook the grounds of the sauna, and out of jari's asscheeks fell an egg, and out of that egg came jukka. The legend of Kai Hahto is unknown in its entirety but on one fateful day, when that legendary ASSb note was made, a great quake occured that shook the heavens and the earth, where kai crawled out of the (ass)cracks in the ground and his drumsticks floated down slowly from the sky covered by heavenly light. They were the drumsticks of destiny. this is part 1 of the story known to us. Part 2 coming after 3 crowdfunds

that's the same clip as 3:44 in the range video... the notes are topping at F5/G5, it seems to be the same passages that I added at 17:02. I simply decided to put that clip at the end to avoid using the same clip twice since those high notes happen right at the low part XD But really nice that you found a version where these notes are much more audible, I was looking for a recording where these notes were better audible for like an hour when making this vid and couldn't find one xD I'd add it in annotations but...youtube kinda doesnt have the annotation option anymore

actually, upon further inspection and since the notes are much clearer in that version, I think those high notes at that part go G5-A5-E5, that's Jari's highest notes! thanks for this :D

Both. When the screams have less tone to them and are more "gritty", that's usually false cord. When he does those tonal high screams, those are technically fry screams with a tonal overlay. Hardest vocal style to learn, in my opinion!
