​@@FroSStVipeRit's not about letting them do what they want with zero consequences, it's about creating a mutually beneficial environment for both cops and crims to create and expand upon TOGETHER in the RP. If they blasted them for trying to grab the cash that doesn't help either of them, it just ends the RP immediately and nobody gets anything except maybe a cop w. I think in some cases hypixel cops are a bit too lenient(like letting sum out of that box) but for the most part it's better to be a bit soft than it is to be too harsh. These cops allow mistakes and don't immediately stop rp when crims or server lag interrupt rp

Tbh I feel like letting sum out of that box was the biggest leeway they gave. Maybe that and when they flipped sum back over after his car rolled. But everything else didn't strike me as too lenient, esp letting them return to the bank. Has they gunned cg down then and there that would have been super boring and uninspiring from the cops. Plus it made for some RLY funny RP. Although I definitely feel the hand holdy-ness that you're talking about

Could somebody with knowledge explain this to me. When they take a hostage and they check their pockets, ive always thought that the game forces you to take the money they had on them. So are they just screwing over the person they take hostage every time? Like, id kinda expect them to give them a cut or something because your taking up their time, even if it was only like 5%. Say you get 70 bands give them like idk 4 or 5. Unless you dont automatically rob them when you check pockets in which case my bad but im just trying to understand as a viewer, ive never played rp.

Nah it don't work that way, it's kinda like everyone has an inventory or a bag space or whatever. And when you search someone it essentially functions the same way as if you were opening your own inventory. If you've ever played a survival game like rust or ark or Minecraft it's very similar to the inventory system in those games, patting someone down is just looking through their inventory. The only reason they do that is to make sure the hostage cant turn on them and shoot while they are in the bank
