The standard of these players is just as good as today i think, especially if the players in this video had the racket/string technology and other improvements like court conditions etc of todays players. Imagine a time machine and having all players using the same technology and all at their peak. So many combinations of matches would be interesting to watcheg Laver and Federer just as one example. Borg did player Laver but Laver was past his peak but to see both at their peak would be amazing. Then Borg and Nadal on clay would be a ripper. I guess would we want to see the modern rackets and strings used or the old wooden and cat gut strings?? I think the modern rackets would see alot less volleying compared to the wooden racket era.

Indeed, and the careers of Gonzales, Rosewall, Connors, and Federer prove it. 20 years at the top for each, and despite diminishing physical powers they were still all able to win GS level events over players who were supposedly 20 years better. Don Budge took a set off Laver in 1962 ...
