Seriously. This was not handled with the seriousness or gravity it deserves. Manipulative stalkers like this are *terrifying*. And there’s definitely times when you don’t realize you’re being manipulated in the moment, but even in that moment what you don’t realize is that you’re in danger. And this could have been handled at least partially with the gravity it needed. Mike could have called out Andy on his toxic behavior, told Sofia what Andy’s doing and helped her protect herself against him. He could have helped Andy get therapy. Then it would be a lesson for kids (mostly boys, but not solely) to call out this dangerous, toxic behavior and to protect the victim. They could have even had an expert say “Mike, I’m so glad you got Andy some help and helped Sofia too. Did you know that…” then the stats of just how damn dangerous it is for women/victims and how much they need real help in these situations. But no, instead we get this discount Disney Channel bull that makes it look like having a stalker is annoying, but not much more.

@vlo48293 жыл бұрын
I said in another comment: This villain was wasted. He was made to be too careful and forward-thinking in his plans for him to be believably exposed in this manner. It was such a copout. Her visit that night should have been a victory for him except maybe something SMALL (related to the make-up bruise perhaps) that lingered in her mind and then going further into her devolving relationship with her boyfriend, things kind of making sense but not adding up completely, some comfort but growing distrust in her ex, and yeah... At some point Mike becoming so disturbed by perhaps a "final plan" to get rid of the boyfriend or something could have led him to talk to her OR at some point she could have met him when he was with Mike, noticed Mike was acting uncomfortable and confronting Mike privately herself out of desperation to get her own head straight as her relationships are all in flux and she doesn't know if she can trust either her boyfriend or her ex... But no, we get the "slipped on a banana peel" (or more accurately the "Sriracha squirts") ending...

@@siouiouioui I realize I’m not the person you’re responding to, but unfortunately it is just a common theme with Twitch chats. Obviously people aren’t great on the internet normally thanks to anonymity, but live content is especially tough I’ve found. There are a lot of reasons for it - reactionary responses that people send quickly without thought, people intentionally saying something inflammatory to gain attention because a creator is more likely to respond in a live format, a collection of at least a few hundred people with differing opinions who think they are the one in the right, etc.

The time immediatly after leaving a abusive relationship is the most dangerous time for a abuser esclating their behaviour to violence and even murder. Thankfully there are organisations that will help you leave and stay safe and national helplines can be found if you google your country and domestic violence helpline.

They were comforting because your sense of humor makes me cry laughing!!! Your energy is so warm and your heart shines. 😊💗 Thank you for being you. The part where she decides to stay and confront her stalker ALONE IN HIS PLACE where no one can hear her scream just… man, I wasn’t expecting to be triggered by one of these silly videos, but here we go. To be alone with your stalker who is getting increasingly physical, know that he went to great lengths to get you alone, and not feel the visceral, primal fear that you’re going to leave that house in the trunk of his car, it’s just… it’s just such a female character written by a man thing to do.

I feel like this is the best dhar mann video bc i know 100% that there are people that act like this but paradoxically bc its realistic, I also hate it the most. Makes me kinda ill ngl. The most unrealistic thing i think is that she stayed for the “gotcha” moment instead of immediately running when she saw his fucking shrine. But yeah the lesson here is that this behavior is predatory, terrifying, and probably illegal. This guy irl could absolutely resort to violence. This is not “normal” jealous behavior. The lesson is A. Don’t do it. B. Don’t enable or dismiss it and C. Call the cops
