The emotional whiplash of "This rich kid doesn't know what it's like to earn things through hard work" to "This child was recently in a car accident where both of his parents died and his brother was hospitalized" to "Go ahead and mark spaghetti on your bingo card" is phenomenal.

Fun Film fact: There's actually a few reasons spaghetti appears in a lot of movies and TV. 1. It's very cheap and easy to make, just buy some noodles and a jar of sauce for a convincing enough meal (and if you want to make it look fancier, that's easy too with a few garnishes). 2. It's very easy to make in bulk, so if a scene needs to be re-shot you don't have to worry about making a whole entire meal again. Just slap some more noodles on the plate. 3. It's very easy to maintain continuity. With food like sandwiches, burgers, anything you take a bite out of, it can be a nightmare for continuity. Once you take a bite out of it, you can't un-take it. If you need to do another take, you need a whole new burger. Time consuming, more expensive, and it can be wasteful. With something like spaghetti, you can just toss more noodles and sauce on the plate, or just by nature of the way most people eat it (by twirling it around your fork, pushing it around, etc), it's not really noticeable if anything has changed. tl;dr most productions use spaghet because it's cheap, easy to make a ton of, and easy to maintain continuity! I've been thinking of this for a while and can never make streams so hopefully these fun facts are entertaining to y'all
@elio9973

as someone who joined in the chat abt halfway through the chat was absolutely feral for the bingo lmao, it does get very annoying and i feel bad for his mods having to deal with it too because they’re the sweetest. the majority of people in chat i think are fine, i feel like it’s just 20 ppl spamming. also sometimes ppl are just having fun or joking (i think i said chekovs leaf blower a few times as a joke) and i think it comes off very differently if you’re not currently playing the bingo, because it seems off-topic to the video but for a lot of people in chat that’s what they enjoy about the stream. but yeah, for the most part it was irritating trying to talk to others in chat or read other messages while having to deal with constant nagging. but for the most part i’ve had very positive experiences in jarvis’ chat during streams. they literally just go feral over bingo.

I feel bad for jarvis constantly having to argue things, it must be really tiring. Dhar Mann is notorious for backwards logic. One of the videos that really hurt me as a fat person was him making a video about a wife that puts on weight and her husband cheats on her and leaves her for the woman he had an affair with because she “let herself go and got fat.” After he left her, she lost the weight. The woman he had an affair with cheated on him. He let himself go and got fat. They ran into each other and he asked to get back together. She threw the fact that he was fat in his face “epic burn style” and left with her new boyfriend who was cut by the hand of the gods. So the message remained, if you’re fat it’s a bad thing.

It’s such a cornerstone of dhar man videos, everyone has to be the perfect victim. They can’t just be people who should be treated with respect bc they’re….people
@xinf3ctdx
@xinf3ctdx Жыл бұрын
@@sofastuffingDefinitely more of a character/writing issue. All I saw was a 16 year old kid acting like a p**sy because he can’t stand up for himself in the most bare minimum kind of way. All he had to do was say “Your mom said that I could grab a slice” and it would’ve been done, but no. He gets told by another kid that he can’t have any of the pizza and he goes, “Oh, you’re right. I should’ve asked first. I’m sorry.” That isn’t emotional maturity. That’s being a b**ch. I wouldn’t show this kid any respect either because he clearly doesn’t deserve any or want any in the first place. He’s clearly a professional, perpetual victim, and that’s a character/writing problem.

Ooof.... I work in mental health. Sometimes, kids have been through a lot of trauma from a very young age. I don't need to detail anything I've seen in my clients, but trust me it's like.... a lot. I HATE the trope that kids who've been through trauma are these mature, generous, wise beyond their years little saints. The reality of it is kids who have been through trauma will often have a lot of anger and behavioral issues. Sometimes they get into fights or curse people out. The reality of childhood trauma is the kids aren't always easy to deal with, and it's important to still have empathy for them. So trying to write a story where they're just perfect tools to teach rich kids a morality lesson is cheap, cliche, and even damaging.

It makes sense that the rich kids name is Jason. Have you ever met a Jason that wasn’t mean or evil. Like epically in the fictional work Jason is always the bad guy. Jasons are just evil

Even more than the chat constantly interrupting Jarvis for the first 20 min of this video, the working kid's attitude about not wanting to "cause a problem" and saying "oh no, it's fine, it's fine that he literally chucked a football at me and could have really hurt me when I fell off that ladder, don't worry about it, it's fine". Drives me crazy. I would absolutely allow the mom to let her spoiled brat son take my job for the day, especially after all that. No qualms
