The Catholics in Texas encourage folk not to read the bible but trust the "priests" only. They know nothing about God's Word. Sad.

This is one of the best podcasts you guys have put out so far. It was so good! The baptism was awesome!! Luke 15 you notice how the father spoke to the boastful, sour brother of the prodigal? The father did not chastise, but explained the life saved and encouraged him to come in. God loves us mercifully and tenderly at times when we don't deserve it. I love that part.

You know boys, I wait for these every week. That says something about the Spirit of God working in not just me, but in alot of people. Just as long as the heart and the true wisdom and simple things that matter grab ahold of where people are missing it. Keep on keeping on, until the race is done and inspire more and the rest of us sloggin' thru the muck of all this sad state of affairs. But nothing is too hard for the Lord. Blessings Robertsons 💖👍🙏🔜🙌... Walter

Even on Instagram, you go to the home page and you can see porn stars and celebrities that are almost naked and it is now normalized for kids to see that type of stuff. The kids then try to replicate it and it will end up ruining their self esteem for the need of likes and shares

My wife and I have cell phones only for emergency, I don't even turn my phone on unless my wife leaves the house. We don't text, we don't tweet. Tenechology is the worst thing to happen to our children, they are absolutely being brainwashed. I pray for my children and grandchildren everyday. God help our children. God bless you all.

I'm as scared of my phone as Phil is; but long before I finally got one earlier this year I knew it would be a phone alone. No texting, none of that other wonderful stuff. I don't carry it except when I have to. It's a phone. And every time I see a zombie on the street it reinforces my fear; I'm not even tempted to use it more than I have to.
@markhuskey67575 жыл бұрын
Raise up a child in the way they should go, and when they are old they shall not depart from it. This is a parenting issue. A cell phone is like a firearm; the danger comes from the heart and mind using it. And that's where we as parents must step up.

cell phones are not a bad thing. they can be useful but there has to be a balance between use of it and letting it take over. there are some kids who become obsessed with needing a cell phone and not being able to be without it . I didn't get my first cell phone till I was 32. I am 38 now.

Seeing all the 5 and 6 year olds on the playground with $800 cell phones just runs me wrong they don't stand a chance . I have 4 grandsons and the 8 and 9 year beg us to buy them one for their birthday or Christmas, I won't be responsible for ruining them , kids make fun of them for not having one .

Of course a cell phone itself isn't bad. But it can be a rather big temptation. Young ones especially, can get addicted.

It's more of social media that is the bad thing. Way too many narcissistic people on there and liberal ideologies spread like a wildfire. There wasn't all this 76 genders BS until social media happened. It should also be called antisocial media because I've seen couples at restaurants who are both face to face yet not talking because they are too busy on their phones

Got a message from my cell phone provider wondering if I was having any issues with the phone. Seems my average of less than 5 minutes of use per billing period raises some red flags. I always wonder what people who have their phone glued to their ears are talking about? Got a lot of words they have to get out I guess. Great topic for today.
