As a newly minted septuagenarian (turned 70 last year) , my earliest musical memories are of Evis, Ricky Nelson and Pat Boone...I’ve progressed thru the Beatles, Psycodelic Rock and the Rat Pack...with a healthy dose of Country thruout...it has been an amazing journey, musically and otherwise...My tastes have always leaned toward the vocally talented. That held bass note of Avi's was a full 8 bars. It's hard to control your breath that long, and maintain volume and pitch. There's a song from Annie Get Your Gun, called "Anything you can do I can do better", and the girl holds a note for a full 16 bars. That one is also amazing. If you can find a pirated performance of Bernadette Peters singing Annie, she does this cool thing at the end of the note.

Oh hi again. Avi's breath control is because of his opera training. He actually mentions it in one of their patreon sessions and says if the Sing-Off had not worked out he was going back to that. It also explains his great "stage presence" with the camera from the opera acting training.
