This is a number where it sounds like Kevin just went ahead and swallowed a whole drum kit. If you revisit this song, listen specifically for him. There’s a beat boxer on KZbin called McKoy who sometimes reacts to PTX, and his insights on Kevin’s performances are so interesting.

McKoy is definitely awesome!!! If you check his reactions out, make sure to watch the one he did of "Can't Hold Us" - particularly epic :-) He hasn't done any new Pentatonix for a while, since his channel is really for beatboxing review and instruction, but he knows his stuff and did really good PTX reactions - super nice guy.
@SteelFalcon774 жыл бұрын
Kevin is dazzlingly talented. His solo stuff is spectacular too. And no matter how many times I hear it, his drums always shock me. I just noticed, after years of listening, that when he does a cymbal noise he draws out the reverb and echo and it sounds like it's naturally fading out... Unbelievable that he can do that with his voice.

I feel like that line would kill the "bouncy" vibe (sorry I don't know how else to describe the way that song feels to me) that they were going for.
