I made this with two strands of wool. It’s not really a scarf the way I did it. It’s nice and thick, so I can take things out of the oven with it. 10/10! Amazing awesome pattern :)

I’m watching this tutorial before I make a scarf for my mom and about 6 or 7 minutes in I had to remind myself that the first row of any cable design is the hardest bc I was like “do I really want to make this?” 😂

im planning out a blanket and was wondering.. if i wanted to do 2 strips of this pattern separated by a big cable in the middle, would i still chain the plus 9 for each portion ? or would i be better off making each strip on its own? thank you!

Thank you for this beautiful scarf pattern and your tutorial. I am using the exact same yarn and color. I'm finding it is working up very stiff and debating about starting over with a 7mm hook instead of 6mm. This yarn isn't the softest but I though also once washed, it might soften and relax a little. What do you think? Many thanks!
@JasmineTeaCrochet
@JasmineTeaCrochet 8 ай бұрын
Hi! Mine came out quite stiff as well and soaking in conditioner did very little to soften it. So I think a 7mm hook will help. :)

This is a gorgeous design. Will try it soon. You've given the multiple as 18+14. However, in your video, you've chained 35 .. So what is it actually?

So every time we look at the back and do one SC on each stitch, we should have 35 at the end of that row? or 34?
@skidusch
@skidusch Жыл бұрын
You should have 34 stitches. The 35th chain accounts for the turning chain that helps to start the first row

If its too tight, go for a bigger hook, if its too loose then go for a smaller one. Works for different wool types too to get the right size needed.
