This song was played at the conclusion of a funeral I attended recently of a man who had been married to his widow for 63 years. Thought it very appropriate that his funeral was their "Last Date" here on earth. When the lady pianist played it, the widow could not contain her composure. So touching and moving.

Thank you so much Jason. It's so important that your grandfather's music and legacy be carried forward. I was almost afraid to listen to this most treasured song of my earliest memory and now I need fear no longer. The future is secure in your capable--and I mean that in only the most superlative way--hands, and heart. May the joy you bring to people like me be returned to you a hundred-fold!

Jason, your talent is equal to that of your grandfather. Please never stop playing his music. I hope you even add to what he accomplished with new music. To lose this talent would be an absolute crime. Thank you and Floyd Cramer for hours of enjoyment and the memories of a time I hope wil never pass.

I have been a Floyd Cramer fan since I was a youngster. Both of my kids and both of my grand kids are too. I had never heard of Jason Coleman until about a year ago, one of his CD's came into the thrift store I was working in, in a donated estate. I bought it just because it was gospel music done on a piano. I was stunned by how much it sounded like Floyd Cramer! I took it to my daughters house so she could hear it and she made the same comment! She read the inside of the box and saw that you were his grand son!! What a blessing to have such a fantastic talent follow in your footsteps!! I will be looking for more of your music for sure! Thank you for being true to the legend your grandfather started!!!

Thank you, Jason. I started playing your grandfather's song forty-eight or forty-nine years ago. And then it was the older ladies who liked it best, along with "Somewhere My Love," etc. So much better that you seek to keep both the song and grace note ("slip note") style of Floyd Cramer alive. It's fun playing other songs such as "Bridge Over Troubled Waters" in that style, even though we can reproduce the original. Instrumentalists don't get the fame like crooners do. Your grandfather's music is a historic "landmark." All the best.
