What separates Kidd and GP from other PGs was they were elite defensive players. A lot of the other great PGs were great offensively but mediocre on defense. Kidd and GP were both 9x All-Defense players

Was also during hand check days don’t wanna take too much away from them because they were both dogs defensively, but they wouldn’t be as effective with todays rules which is pretty unfortunate.
