I love how Jason Lee keeps tapping Jeron because he's so involved in telling the story 😂

Jason Lee is a national treasure. He's insanly talented in many ways. Thanks for making me laugh and love skating.

Reminds me of one of the Tony Hawk games where they had a story path where it wasn't about competitions and getting crazy tricks, getting sponsors etc it's all about just having fun skating with your friends.

Super relatable. I backed away from skateboarding for about 5 years because of University and my first graduate job. I just didn't have it in me to focus on skateboarding as well as my studies and career. 2 weeks ago I got back on my board, and I've fallen in love all over again. Once a skater, always a skater. For sure!

Like, as chill as these guys are, dude is one HELL of an interviewer. Really knows how to get it out of em and really feels like he's invested in the story... Because he IS!

Yeah, definitely been in and out of skating in a natural way too. Taking breaks is good to get reignited passion for it.

I quit skating for 16 years then one day wanted to skate. Four days after skating again I started building a mini ramp in my back yard.
@CenturianEagle Жыл бұрын
I skated from 13 till 20 every day for hours and hours (2003-2020) then I stopped and skated again in 2012. Then stopped and skated again in 2016 and rushed back into it way too fast, like my 2nd day of skating after years off a board I was trying to frontboard an 8 stair handrail at the building beside the local skatepark, and I broke my arm. I haven’t skated since, so that was 7 years ago. If I had a mini ramp though I would skate again for sure!! I was big into handrails and stuff and I think a mini ramp would just be the most awesome thing to have and to skate now that I’m older and would just be skating for fun. Good call on building one! I hope you’re enjoying it still. I would build one myself but my neighbours would complain 100%

although I'll never skate again(old and don't want knee to go out on me again), still eat up skate videos which bring back rush of skate memories

i feel this, Ive been on an off skating for 15 years, mostly because of knee injuries and just life getting in the way. I always come back to it though. Probably going to stick to flatground from here on out though lol

I don't know Jason, but I ran in circles that overlapped in Jason's circles back in those socal skater days, and I have to admit: he's giving off that energy of a man who finally came back to his true self. This is who Jason is, deep down. Love to see it

I legit stopped skating for the same reasons. I saw how fast it was progressing and I couldn’t keep up. I was like, I had fun, but I’m done. Walked away. I think it’s healthy to recognize when you’ve reached the end. There was nothing I missed. Had great memories.

Jason’s right, i really like how you can skate, but just cruising is fine. There really isn’t any pressure to learn tricks anymore, although you absolutely could. It’s okay to just go and cruise around either way friends, no one will judge you

Wow, im glad i stumbled across this, i stopped in 91, skated thru the 80's(84 to 91). Gave my board to my friends little brother(deck was a santa cruz corey ob'rien). It was one of tho's things, id been playing guitar since 85and it was becoming more than a hobby, i graduated in 90 and went to college for music education, still skated for most of the time in college but was definitely few and far between skate sessions. I remember quiting skating and quiting college around the same time, thats when i moved to tampa got into a band and starting to tour the east coast and playing music all the time then the next thingbi knew it was 2018 or 19 and i wasnt a skater anymore. Recently ive gotten back into the whole thing from a spectator position(thanx in part to the bones brigade documentary) now ive been thinking of boards and getting one. My bones wont like this decision but what the hell, im sure the doctor will write a script or two(i use to fall ALOT).

I'm 27 I skateboarded since I was around 12 for maybe a good 6 years or more not that long ago I set up a board the way I used to threw it in my trunk and when I wasn't working was going to skate parks and was 50/50 some decent ledges and getting a little bit back but I kind of stopped again too it's weird I've been a fighter it comes back naturally there's some things you can pick up again and they never leave skateboarding you definitely get rusty and have to relearn and it's weird

A gang of times, 😂. I don’t think he cared too much. It’s funny you mentioned this because I thought the same damn thing when I watched this episode. I was thinking about how conflicted I would have been in that situation because I love Jason but it drives me crazy when people do that.
