I think he was a struggling comedian and was living with his mom before Vine and waited tables to get by. He made enough money to live with a few roommates in LA when he was doing Vine and started getting like $200-300 a show with the standup, then he met David and had like a 5 year run of huge success. I would understand if he were in his 20s, but how a 45 year old didn't plan for life after Vlog Squad is kinda amazing. He tried going back to doing comedy but that dried up real quick, and I think he tried starting a show at some point, but that failed too.

A grown middle aged man is literally making a mockery of himself for money. He doesn’t care what his behavior will do to his children in school. How it will affect his wife in her career. He has succumbed to stopping so low just to survive. A lifestyle that Dobrik provided him. He humiliated that man and every other person he comes in contact with. He is manipulative and derives pleasure from seeing people tormented, physically hurt, degraded. He used them as pawns then discarded them. Much like a sociopath. Nash is having a nervous breakdown. That’s the only reason dobrik even went over to Nash’s. He wanted to see him struggling emotionally and financially. It’s control. He knows Nash will be there no matter what he does to the man. It’s sick. Every person that has left that crew, has seemingly become all around better people. They’re not being torn down. They are thriving. Nash needs a mental evaluation done. He’s manic. The burn out is coming. I’ve been there. After the DV/SA, I was the same way. Stuck in fight or flight mode. I’m disabled bc it activated a genetic autoimmune disorder I didn’t i had. I’ve never snapped back fully on any level. That man needs help. I feel for his wife and children. I can’t imagine how overwhelming that home can be bc of his lives and chaos. And I’m sure they see it. Dobrik is a horrible person. He’s got a lot of karma heading his way I’m sure.

What’s crazy to me is that I’m sure Jason Nash PRE vlog squad had a perfectly normal job. Now POST vlog squad he’s out here on some “ew a regular day job, no thanks” in hopes that David will include him in at least one video. He also seems like the creepy old guy every parent told us about in the 2000s to watch out for online. I know he’s not chatting with minors, but let’s be honest, most of TikTok is a bunch of minors being influenced by “influencers.” There are plenty of worthy causes to donate to and Jason Nash is not one of them. He is a grown man who can go read a book and learn a new skill or start at an entry level job. I’d rather see a TikTok of Jason Nash in a McDonald’s drive thru window working than him degrading himself on a TikTok live. I’m sure his kids can’t even go on TikTok without seeing their dads face. While I appreciate that David does check in on him, we all know as the audience that he’s not doing it because he cares about Jason, it’s because David’s gotta keep up the image that he cares about Jason. Jason is honestly not relevant anymore and David knows it. Jason I’m sure is aware of his relevancy but isn’t ready to throw in the towel yet. He should. He looks miserable. Also, STOP SPENDING EITHER YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY OR YOUR PARENTS HARD EARNED MONEY TO DONATE TO A GUY WHO HAS NO IDEA WHAT HARD WORK IS.

You reject that everyone tells you your dads a loser. Try to get closer then realize where my dad‘s a loser. Especially since he’s way more focused on TikTok then his own children and how this affects them even emotionally. The kids gave up kids don’t give up if you give them incentive they have nothing from this dude. It’s only gonna get worse that resentment is going to grow and he’s not gonna have a relationship with them. And he has nobody to blame but himself. Whine I agree with what Ethan said about Jason having played a huge part in the vlog squad, providing content and basically being David’s monkey, I still feel like Jason is an adult who needs to do his own thing, provide for his family and be responsible. I watched him behave in a toxic manner towards Trisha for years, shame her eating habits and diet etc.. he seemed like he was high on life, didn’t think anyone could touch him, and now it seems like karma has hit him and what goes around comes back around. I think Jason is a talented comedian and has a lot to offer in terms of content creation. Instead of begging for gifts and money, I think if he actually delved into a project, something productive, we would see him flourish. At the moment it just seems like he’s scrambling to make ends meet instead of looking into the next career move.

Everyone has a role in this little TikTok Live and has accepted it. If he wants to dehumanize himself for money, then that's his hustle. Just don't be surprised if it bites back in the future. Then again, these peoplr who are desperate think about the now to get by anyway, so I'm sure they don't care how much of a fool they made themselves to become.
