@@Brian-hg3gt Not really what I’d consider a funk roll, at least nowhere near your standard funk Funk usually involves grabbing their ankle on the roll through, forcing the scramble, whereas this is a clean roll through intended to break contact Now, I *have* seen others do this roll, but it’s very very uncommon at a high level

Gotta love Nolf. One of the reasons wrestling turns some people off is that the best wrestlers are super defensive. Nolf didn’t mind giving up a few points, and that made him very entertaining. Saying that, it doesn’t mean he was easy to score against.

No one is beating him for the rest of his college career guaranteed. That was hilarious though. He pulled a jiu jitzu move outta nowhere and tried to get back point with it. Certainly did not look illegal at all seeing how the guys arm was not in any potentially dangerous position.

Austin Desanto "Vision quest" .....this wrestler beat an unhealthy Lee and an unhealthy Micic. At the state finals Lee had a torn ACL, a cumbersome brace and he could not get into top shape because of the injury. That is the ONLY reason why Desanto beat him. Desanto gets waaay too much cred for beating Lee. Lee is now an NCAA champion. Recently Desanto tried to injure Micic by placing him in an illegal Kimura. Desanto is a poor sport. Micic also mentioned that he likes to grind his face into yours during the takedown.

Reggie Glubber lee still made it to the finals in the Pennsylvania high school state tournament? U act like desanto just walked up to him and started a match. If you wanna blame the injury. Atleast try to make sense. I’m sure it wasn’t the easiest to make it to the finals. Desanto beat him fair and square.
@avidadolares3 жыл бұрын
This comment didnt age well. Every match of De Santo is just luck or some cosmic force at play? Give the kid some credit, hes beat some good wrestlers that werent injured too. They are easy to look up. Do a little homework before sounding like an idiot.

@@avidadolares Hey our faux wrestling professor. My comment will ALWAYS be very, very valid. I've been watching both of these wrestlers for MANY years. AGAIN Desanto ONLY beat Lee, because of his injury and not being in top shape. You can view Lee's previous State championships and you will find (when you do your much needed homework) that he was much faster and in EXCELLENT shape. We were talking about Spencer Lee here NOT the other people that Desanto beat. Along your weak losing stance how did Desanto do vs Lee when wrestling Suriano? HUGE DIFFERENCE. How has Lee done at Nationals vs Desanto????!!!!! Do your homework DUMMY. BOOOOOOOOM!

Nope. He may only be 160 pounds roughly and he may look kinda skinny, but if you've ever tustled against top level college wrestlers (especially the best in the entire country) you will quickly see it feels like youre fighting off a wild animal. The quickness, explosiveness, strength, and skill these guys posess is like nothing else. To get a little bit of an idea without actually doing it one thing I could recommend is just to watch the ncaa tournament and look closely at the wrestlers faces when they are being interviewed after a match. They will most likely have knots over their eyes, brush burn marks all over their faces and forehead from getting driven into the mat, bruising, swollen or black eyes, nose bleeds and drenched in sweat. They are at war on the mat and the t.v. does not give justice to how hard theyre going. But to feel what its like locking up with one of them no matter what weight class they are is tough to explain, but you better be tough, athletic and ready or you could get seriously hurt if they went full out.

Tony Tigre After a match a college wrestler will usually show an extra cauliflower in each of his ears, his nostrils will be wide and flared, his cheeks will be red and full, and his neck will have stretch marks and wrinkles. This is all out warfare. Almost like being on the front line. Chuck Yeager comes to mind.
