What's the biggest lie about manhood/men in culture today? 🧐
@MasterBlasterDisasterBastard13 күн бұрын
That acquiring material things is going to satisfy you.
@kNOwYouAndMe13 күн бұрын
Theres too many lies to pick a biggest one. We cant cry. Its weak to need help. Our worth is in our bank account and how many women we've slept with. Therapy is for losers. I could go on 🤦♂️
@TORRYS_BORN_TO_WYNN13 күн бұрын
The definition of manhood is old and antiquated. The biggest lie about manhood is this myth of the "self made man." Every man needs someone i.e family, community, friends, the church body, mentors, etc...
@shaneschwartz101812 күн бұрын
Men shouldn’t cry and should be hard and emotionless.

That you should sleep with as many women as possible. You should have multiple women in order to be successful. Alpha and beta behavior is false. You are either humble or prideful. God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble

This is one of the most affirming videos I have ever watched. I have always been a “softer” male and I have gotten ridiculed for that in several ways. I praise God for being in my life a lot sooner because I don’t know where I would be if I did not know Him. I wish more men and women embraced being human knowing that God created nuance. This is why identity is so important!

I've listened to every one of your podcasts Lecrae and for me this is the best one! I'm a 45-year-old white man who came from a disenfranchised childhood a single mom raising me and my brother my dad and her split when I was 3 years old. We moved around a lot I went to six different elementary schools. I've felt everything that Jason is talking about. I lost my mom January 27th 2017. This was before I found Christ I grew up in church and I knew who Jesus was but I never had a relationship with him until about 3 years ago. Before that I did not understand life and how to process my emotions and it tormented me forever I did not know how to handle it. I was this masculine man who did not understand how to be vulnerable. Even though I was raised by a woman and had to help care for her tremendously because she was sick from the time she was born. Thank you so much for your insight I'm going to get your book. I've been married for 17 years been with my wife for over 20. I have two beautiful sons 22 and 18. And this is going to tremendously help me grow in my walk with the Lord and to be able to be the man and husband that God created me to be. Thank you so much!

Im halfway through and this interview is 🔥 Jason Wilson is dropping some major gems that I pray anyone watching is absoring. I am reading Jason's book now "Battle Cry" and it is so inspirational and life changing!! There are some major gems, one being the "comprehensive man"!! Which has helped me with my marriage to my wife and seeing "her heart" rather just hesring her words like Jason said. I have 2 sons and a daughter and I am teaching my boys at young age that it's ok to show emotions, sadness, fear, and that behind anger, theirs a deeper emotion! Im modeling for my daughter how a man should behave and carry themselves. Similar to the wisdom that Jason is speaking about.

I seen the video with the kids and the little boy crying 😢 it made me cry, it was so powerful how Jason allowed him to cry and speak life into him it’s ok to cry. Men so trapped in their ego I sent this video to a guy friend he responded I don’t need to see another man etc. He is the most traumatize man I know with mama and daddy issues. So sad but true
