Statistically, It is one of the most successful 'Friday The 13th' films. Personally, I actually love this movie despite its many flaws! Legendary Cameo Fact: David Cronenberg's cameo was done as a favor to his former protege Director Jim Isaac for loaning his Canadian-based production crew to him. In exchange, he wanted to get killed on screen. Feminism Marches On Fact: Neither casting director Robin Cook nor director James Isaac initially wanted to do the virtual reality scene with the naked campers. Cook was so adamant the scene was nothing but gratuitous nudity that she refused to cast the roles of the two topless girls, relegating those duties to her casting assistant Andrea Kool. Isaac agreed that it was clearly just nudity for nudity's sake, and the only way he could personally justify it is if they had fun with it and poked fun at the franchise including naked teens in its films. The two actresses Kool ended up casting, Kaye Penaflor and Tania Maro, were very excited about doing the scene because this was the biggest film either of them ever appeared in. Kaye Penaflor and Tania Maro are my heroes.

This is why I say just because you can make another movie in that franchise doesn't mean you should. Now you really understand why I say Scream 2022 should be the last Scream movie. Because under the rules that the Scream movies that they were based off of. That being movie tropes this is the last movie Trope left. That they did not cover that being a movie with bad writing that makes no sense whatsoever. Scream 6 has to be a horrible movie with bad writing to keep following the purpose and that's following movie tropes. Because if they make a decent Scream 6 with a good story that's not a movie trope. Because after a movie franchise has gone on longer than it should wich Scream 2022 covered the movie franchise. Gets to this point a movie that's completely unnecessary with bad writing that makes no sense. So Scream 6 has to do this in order to stay true to its franchise. Because it's all about movies and the tropes as movie franchises progress.

Technically this takes place in the future. FVJ was still in the development and the director and writer of Jason X were throwing around ideas and they came up with Jason in Space. This movie was on the shelf for two years because they didn’t know what to do with it rather release to straight to video or theaters. Eventually they chose to release it in theaters because it got leaked online. This movie is special to me as a Jason fan because the release date fell on my birthday. The first Jason movie I saw in theaters.

Simlpe answer this movie ignores all continuity like every. Movie starting with Friday the 13th Part 2 because part two ignores the fact that in Friday the 13th the first movie. It makes it perfectly clear as day that Jason died in 1957 and was not alive or anywhere around Crystal Lake. Part 2 has him somehow alive magically they kill him off in part 4. So they have lightning magically bring them back to life in part 6. Then Jason Goes to Hell brings in some Demon BS because if he was a demon he would not have died in part 4. Going by the rules of Jason Goes to Hell and Jason X completely undoes all of that. By saying Jason never died because he keeps regenerating so he never died which means he was never a demon which means. Lightning never brought him back to life wich means he never died in part 4 or at all. Wich completely erases Friday the 13th the first movie. Because he never died in 1957 so his mother would have no reason to go insane and start killing people so she would not kill anyone. Because the only reason she did that was because Jason died in 1957 officially and that's Canon that Jason died in 1957 it was never Jason Voorhees alive in part 2 or was he the Killer. So in this movie they gave him regenerative powers that completely kills every single movie in this franchise even more than. The fact that he was alive an the killer in part two did because Canon and this is official. From the first Friday the 13th movie that Jason Voorhees died in 1957 in Crystal Lake. He was never alive to begin with nor was he anywhere in Crystal Lake during the first movie. So yea this is what happens when you keep making movies because people want you to in a movie franchise. You end up with movies that make no sense and never will and nothing can make them make sense. Just like the Halloween movie franchise Scream fans need to take note and understand this. Halloween with Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees in Friday Friday the 13th both movie franchises have continued because fans wanted them to. Then Child's Play can't forget that one because the ritual that started the entire movie franchise. Had its rules change constantly from movie to movie first Chucky can only put his. Soul into the first person he told his real name to no Medallion needed. With a timetable in which he had to do it that was the rule up until the 4th movie. 4th movie no timetable on the ritual and his doll body did not turn human. Bride of Chucky now you need a medallion and there's no time table and you can. Just put your soul into anyone without telling them your real name. The Cult of Chucky no timetable in which to do the ritual but some point. In time some dolls became human and other dolls didn't become human no Medallion needed for a ritual. That an the One Soul per vessel rule was erased that an they took the original way that Charles Lee Ray. Was cornered by the police in the first movie and replaced it in a future movie an had a new explanation of how he was cornered by the police. The end results are zero continuity and multiple retcons that just make the movie franchise a mess to watch. Along with bad story writing I mean in this movie alone. The movie in the beginning takes place in 2000 something. They use cryogenic units to freeze Jason Voorhees but when it goes to the Future Part of the movie. Whare they fine Jason Voorhees and her the Android. Clearly states that the cryotenic units were created 20-something years later. But some how they magically used them in the 2000ins but they weren't invented. Until 20 years later So thats completely impossible for them to use something before it was invented. But it's in the movie it's bad writing. This is why the Scream movies should have stopped at Scream 5. Because Scream a general take on horror movie tropes. Scream 2 a take on sequel tropes Scream 3 a take on Trilogy tropes. Scream 4 a take on remake and reboot tropes Scream 5 you know what I mean. Its about the horror movie trope about when a movie franchise has gone on longer than it should. Because the only movie Trope especially horror movie Trope that's left for Scream 6 is. When the movie has horrible writing and makes no sense whatsoever like Jason X. Seriously that's the only movie Trope left for the Scream movie franchise. Because the idea of a Scream movie franchise is movie tropes. So that means logically Scream 6 is going to have to be about horror movies going on way too long. So they have bad story writing and make no sense that's what Scream 6 has to be about by the rules of their own movie franchise. Because thats what that movie franchise is based on movie tropes. Thats the only movie trope and horror movie Trope left. People that like movie franchises need to understand this. Learn from the past movie franchises that kept going just because people wanted them to. They all end up the same making no sense with bad writing.

Just because people wanted another movie like I pointed out look at the Halloween movie fantasize with Michael Myers. That one is everywhere and makes no sense with different timelines and rectons constantly happening. Same thing with the Child's Play or Chucky movies multiple retcons to the ritual and to the movies itself. Then all I can say about the Texas Chainsaw Massacre no spoilers is. Its full of constant remakes and reboots with a sequel here and there. They like the Friday the 13th movie franchise have one thing in common. That is they should of stop making movies in those movie franchises years ago. But they kept making them because the fans wanted them to. So just because you can make another movie in that franchise doesn't mean you should. This is why Scream 2022 really should have been the last movie in that franchise. Because the only Trope that's left for that movie franchises. Wich is what the Scream movie franchise is all about movie tropes and the progression of movies franchises. Is a unnecessary movie with really bad story plot and writing. So seriously Scream 6 has to be a horrible movie to keep up with the tropes and that's the rule base for that movie franchise. I mean really bad I have an idea for what Scream 6 needs to be about. It fits in with that movie trope perfectly first the rectons. Because every movie franchise ends up with retcons at this piont. Cindy's mother was alive the entire time Billy's mom is also. Alive and she teams up with Sydney's mom because we. Retcon the part where Billy's dad cheated on her with Sydney's mom. How are they alive who cares no explanation is needed to be given in a retcon. Then they go on a killing spree to kill anyone and everyone that was ever involved with for murder or death that never happened. Because it was retcond but the movie will still act like it still happen. Even though in that movie it never happened but it will still act like they still died. See this is the kind of story that Scream 6 must have because it is bed writing and it makes zero sense and it never will. Because that's only movie franchise Trope left for the Scream movie franchise to cover. A completely unnecessary movie with horrible story and bad writing.

@@SomethingCinema On the Movie Studio and filming side yes but I was referring to the fans that kept asking and keep asking for movies. They need to realize that the movies are just going to get worse and have bad writing in the end. So I'm talking about the fans that keep asking and wanting more movies in movie franchises like for example Scream. They need to realize be careful what they ask for because. They need to look at Friday the 13th , Halloween and all these other older movie franchises. Then see how they no longer make sense and are no longer good because they. Kept making them for too long for no reason why did they make them because fans wanted them to make them. So the fans demanded it from the movie studios so they made them. So the movie studios are only doing what the fans want. So the fans need to realize the longer something goes on the worse it's going to get. Then the fans complain when a bad movie comes along when it was only made. Because they wanted another movie in that movie franchise. So ultimately in the end it comes down to the fans if they. Say this is a good point to stop and don't support another movie. The movie studio most likely won't make another movie case and point The A Nightmare on Elm Street remake. The movie studio planned for a sequel to that movie. But it did so poorly in the movie theaters that they immediately dumped the idea of a sequel. Why because the movie studio seen the fans didn't like it so obviously didn't they don't want a sequel. So the fans are the reason movie franchises get that bad. If fans see a good stopping point for that franchise and don't ask for any. Other movies afterwards the movie studio most likely will not make it. Because no one is asking for a another movie also case and point the Trimmers movies I like them. The reason that there is seven now is because fans kept asking and demanding another. So the ones behind it went okay you want one here's an idea here's another movie for you. Seriously they said they kept making them only because the fans kept asking them to. So ultimately movie franchises are in the hands of the fans if they ask for more movies more movies will be made. If fans go okay this is a good stopping point we had enough and don't ask. That shows the movie studios it's time to move on to other ideas.
