This comes off as a talk show, you are the host and we are the guests. Very well done, informative and interesting. Good job.

Great watch, ty. To avoid mistakes, I number the micro set and sol bottle caps using a magic marker pen “1” and “2” respectively.

Man you're brave with that open bottle of Microset. I keep mine off to the side to prevent knocking it over which is my specialty with open bottles. I even screw my Tamiya Ex Thin back in each and every time.

I've got that RFM Pz IV kit. It looks excellent. And it is very accurate...issues are minor...I don't quite remember but it's just like leave off the smoke launchers, move the spare tracks to a different spot, and move the headlight. At least, that's for the boxart vehicle 420 since it's Krupp factory. Build the kit stock and it's a great Kursk Pz IV. I am looking forward to building it later this year! I am also amazed at the reasonable price; some kits these days are way too expensive. I enjoyed your decaling demo. Using a needle is a great idea as I do have the same issue you described when using a knife.

Great info! Look forward to see what you do with it, I have a couple interesting RFM builds I want to do including a big cat kit bash!

Nice tip on getting decals to set into rivets holes. I find you have to be very careful using the stronger setting solutions such as Tamiya Mark Fit super strong and Solvaset over certain paint/gloss coats. In my experience those setting solutions will eat through Aqua Gloss (acrylic) and AK Real Colour paints. However if you use a Lacquer gloss coat over AK RC or the solutions on a true lacquer paint then it works just fine. Tamiya XF, LP , including clear coats and Mr Hobby paints seem to hold up well to the stronger solutions. I pretty much stopped using acrylic clear coats and paints if I need to use the stronger setting solutions. Just test first before using them.

Hi Jason, another great video. I’ve been using mirco sol/set but recently started using Mr Setter/Softer, found these get the decal into the model much better

Great video! I just bought a Rye Field Panzer IV kit. It’s the J Late version with interior. Had a ton of issues with their older kits but I’ve completed 3 interior kits without issues recently.

IIRC the Pz IV Ausf. F2 had the L/43 Gun while the G had the L/48 gun. Nitpicking, I know.

I'm pretty sure you have 95% of the interior parts with this kit if you wanted to make it a full kit. Ryefield is pretty good about giving you alot of extras

Another really interesting and helpful vid', many thanks. If you ever decide to do an advanced advanced guide to decals I could do with some advice about putting on BIG decals. I have the ICM 1/32 I-16 rata and want to use the big slogan decals but I'm petrified by them!
