Hello Jason, I just started following your channel. I am actually getting a dog at the end of March. I was wondering can you feed the dog dry food and also a raw diet? I know a raw diet is expensive, so can u mix dry and raw together to save some money What is your opinion on that and I love you and your wife’s videos. Dogs are beautiful. I’ve been watching your vids along with other cane Corso owners and doing my own research. Your vids are very helpful. I’m in the process of getting a cane Corso and I’ve been doing lots of research. Can you tell me a good weight for the parents should be along with temperament? I reached out to one breeder and she said the mother is 90 lbs and the father is 116 lbs and 27 inches and I remember you said not to get a scrawny dog in one of your vids so just wanted to check.

Pick parents based on size and temperament you are looking for. If you want a dog around 100lbs 110lbs then that is what you will prob get from those parents. If you want a mellow dog and the parents are mellow that's a good sign you can get a mellow puppy from the litter. If you want a high energy dog and the parents are high energy then good chance that's what you will get.

Hi good luck with your search, we went for a puppy that was not to sleepy and that is what he's turned out to be, happy playful loving chap, he's nearly 14 months now and 112lb we we're not expecting him to have so much energy (considering this size of dog) but he's calmer if he has a 3-4 mile walk each day around mid morning plus playing and training in between. Such a good dog tho. X😊
