This video deserve many millions views ,specially in the west , so to awaken people of reality. The video deserves a second part .. is really important subject . This is however not saying that Western anglo european cultures have more freedom than in China in general , in many ways it does . For example freedom of expression . however the problem with measuring "freedom" is that it does not take into account practical freedom ,freedom that actually benefits you , versus symbolical freedom ,that does not benefit you in real practice.. True freedom happens , when everyone live in a place ,that they can get a good job they like in a very secure environment and that it allows them to buy all the things they want. true practical freedom is directly connected to prosperity , to money.. If you are homeless person ,without a job , without school , without a future , you are not free , but a slave of the system. Modern day slavery have a name , is called poverty . And here china wins big time.. People will have no need to critisize their government and protest against system ,if the government do its job , and put society interest first. That said .The anglo european west Freedom ,is mostly words , and concepts , and meaningless rights to complain against the system , meaningless because their governments never cares about people demands. and on top of that the elections are symbolic ,do not actually represent the will of majority of people ,instead the intertest of the super rich. In China is much better ,because the government there actually work very hard ,to improve the quality of lives of their citizens.. and you can notice instantly that very easily by looking how much money they invest in modernizing their cities and in creating jobs. If you have no money , no job , and no education ,you are not free, and this is were china really surpass by a mile the west.. in true practical freedom.. in the west people need a gun , because of the mediocre and corrupt government they have. In china or in any country ,that its government truly cares about tis people security and interest ,society don't need guns. None of that looting that is the norm in the west , will happen ever in china main land , because government will protect people business against riots and looters. Indeed this video opens a pandora box ,and deserve several parts.. True freedom needs to be discussed more ,what that really is.. versus ideological symbolic freedom.
@wwppk2 жыл бұрын
@@technoartfest8708 The indicators of the Human Development Index are much better measurements of freedom that actually matters. A homeless American in Skid Row has freedom of speech, freedom of vote, freedom of assembly, and freedom of association. Yet, those are useless freedoms when he is living in a tent on the sidewalk, in a dangerous environment with high risks of violent crime, and cannot afford the basic necessities of life. No Chinese people in their right mind would want to trade places with homeless Americans in Skid Row. China has a much higher HDI than India, 'the world's largest democracy', which proves that the Chinese system is the best political system for governing a country of 1.4 billion people.

I was born and raised in the U.S.A. and I wish I was born and raised somewhere else, I hate this nation now, we have all been brain washed into believing the American way of life is the best in the world. The Chinese government is more sensitive to criticism, because I experienced the Tiananmen riots in 1989. I was a child in 1989 and I was still in elementary school. I could read newspapers and TV. At that time, speech was very free. Any scholar could be in the media. Published random criticism of the government. The situation has changed since 1989, and the government has regulated free speech. Looking back at the riots in Hong Kong, I understand the inside story of the original situation. Since then, the government no longer allows individuals to criticize or even discuss government decisions at will, but retains the complaint channels for ordinary people. In the 1990s, the government and ordinary people did not trust each other. There were riots in Tiananmen Square, attempts by Falun Gong organizations to subvert the government, and terrorist campaigns in Tibet and Xinjiang for independence. It was the 1990s when public security was chaotic and the economy developed rapidly. In the past decade or so, the government has regained the trust and support of the people. The government’s bureaucratic corruption has been strongly eliminated, the transparency of governance has been improved, the economy and people’s livelihood has been developed, poverty eradication, and support for disadvantaged groups have been done in place. As long as you don’t criticize and confront the government, you will have absolute personal freedom if you abide by the law. I log on to the government website or send a letter to submit a problem complaint. Whether it is a solution or an explanation of the situation, I always receive a reply. This was unimaginable before. This is the best period in China’s history, and most Chinese people are Optimistic about China's future development. I used to be dissatisfied and angry, but now I trust and support the Chinese government. There is a process of change. I hope to inspire friends who want to understand the development of Chinese society.

One of the things about the crime rate is. It used to be sky high, especially where you are in Guizhou... The roads between Guiyang to Nanning to Guangdong was one of the most heavily highway-robbed areas in China (armed robbery of tourist buses). Baotou's purse snatching was a daily occurence. Nanjing road in Shanghai had a ton of chopsticks pickpocketers. Shenzhen near Hong Kong borders and the little prostitution villages had child beggar thieves. Child kidnapping was a rampant issue. ...and plenty more, but within the last 20 years or so a LOT of these issues has been corrected by federal schemes like massive scale poverty alleviation, freedom of scientific non-religious education, infrastructure improvements, and yes, also surveillance and crackdowns of criminal elements, but overall anyone who has seen these changes should be able to accept it's incredibly successful and effective for the highest populated country in the world. To deny that is just being willfully ignorant. The people willing to educate themselves with facts should come to China and tour around to see if people are actually forced to do anything, if people are actually unhappy and just pretending to smile and have fun in a "brutal regime", if we're only saying things because there are North Korean-style minders watching our every word. It's pathetic if some haters are only basing their knowledge on the words of news broadcasters. and lets see if KZbin will censor this as usual.
@dranzacspartan80022 жыл бұрын
Wow ... you are one of the dumbest people on this posts. What a lot of crap. Let me balance out your rather biased post. The road from NYC to LA "was" THE most dangerous road in the History of any country. There were Highway Men shooting, burning and scalping people for their money. There were White Supremacists who paid heavily for the Scalp of a Native American - the Scalp could be either Man, Woman, or Child. They went around giving GIFTS of diseased blankets to innocent Tribes, using Bio Weapons way back in the 1700's. Out of the Thousands of Native American Nations, only a few hundred survived, HUNDREDS of Nations were exterminated. There were criminals on horses that would destroy a Wagon ... kill all the men and still, rape and burn Women and Girls for their pleasure. There was prostitution in the little villages just so the poor women could get some bread to eat and to feed her 'out of wed lock' babies they loved, even if they were the result of rap to unknown, dirty men they never saw again. These outlaws, many religious, went around and grabbed Black Americans, hung them or burnt them to the stake. The people were wilfully ignorant, dirty and uneducated. Today, USA Citizens have to carry GUNS to protect themselves (like NO OTHER Country in the world). The violence, even today, is so bad that an ordinary gun (one trigger to fire one bullet) is NOT good enough, they have to carry AR (one trigger to fire a spray of bullets). USA Politicians today still tell their people to CARRY GUNS it's so bad. It's pathetic if some haters are only basing their knowledge on People like YOU who is clearly poorly educated and totally indoctrinated.
