War with China is very likely ending up in nuclear showdown. Both side has mentality that I will rather die than be a slave. Chinese national anthem is about rather death than slavery. Western powers are pushing toward such apocalyptic ending.

Most suicide bombings were committed by people in poverty since they had less to lose than victims. China is more willing to commit nuclear equal destruction than USA since China has less to lose comparing rich westerners. US economy depends on the war to grow economy and have a surplus. Only manufacturing industry it has, is arms. Thus, they have to have enemy and go to war with them. Look at the state of Iraq, Syria, Yeman and Libya. Not long ago, they are all fully fuctioning countries. Now, they are all in ruins, fighting amongst themseleves for power and unstable.
What most people including Americans don't know is that the US defense budget is actually closer to $3.5 trillion or more. Their budget doesn't cover their estimated 900 bases(currently in the works to expand even more) around the world; nuclear research, maintenance and manufacturing. ; veterans affairs, overseas operations such as sowing the seeds of dissent and war, assassinations, espionage, military exercises, escorting aircraft carriers( over a billion per day for each) and of course the grand daddy of them all, wars. Officially, the Afghan war costed Americans $300 million per day and I'm positive that it's likely closer to be more than double. Therefore, it's unsurprising that the Americans have more debt than the rest of the world combined. Ironically, their defense budget didn't save any Americans as their covid situation is killing more than 3000 of them per day. Even the CDC said that their stats are grossly under estimated.

USA and China do business together would advance humanity. It is not the interest of several mega-players and the US establishment. After the rise during directly after WW2 the surplus recycling and later the surplus from other countries recycling burned out after 4 decades. The USA has serious infrastructure issues and the money went to wars and due to polarized leadership it is impossible to agree on anything. The aggressors are the ones who who act aggressive against the ones who have things they want. Genghis Khan back in the 1200's and the mongols wanted to trade with China but had nothing to trade so they attacked China. The British wanted the good that China had but Britain had nothing that China wanted. China only accept gold as payment. So the British got the Chinese addicted to opium grown in their colony of India. When China made opium illegal, the British had nothing to trade and not enough gold to trade with so they became the aggressor known as the Opium War. America wanted to trade with Japan. Japan was renowned for their excellent craftsman and craftsmanship. When Japan chose to stay isolated, America became aggressive and sent Admiral Perry and gunships with an ultimatum to either open trade or face an attack from America a year later. The U.S. dollar will remain the world's reserve currency for the following reason. If the reserve currency became China's, then the U.S. wouldn't have anything to trade and would become aggressive. Donald Trump was too ignorant to understand this when he started the trade war with China during his term of power.

Well fighting guerrillas is different from a standing army. they dont work the same way. besides, most of the time the taliban hid within the mountains and its not in the US interest to send in resources to fully destroy the taliban militia. they mostly turn to attrition warfare where if given enough time and with the taliban low on supply, they are the one which will submit. However, in this case its Joe Biden who demand the withdrawal of US troop. The US still have the resources and capability to continue occupying Afghanistan but he's the one who calls for it first. Currently the only thing that plaguing america is incompetence leadership.

3:20 Even that number (for America) is on the high end because they have one high speed line which goes at a *max* speed of 240KPH which it can only maintain for a few minute-long stretches since the track it runs on is so old.

Here’s my take on this. If it were a nuclear war, no one would win even if the US has way more nukes. There’s a Russia factor to it. Here’s what I would like to see. Let China and the US fight a conventional war with Russia and EU as referees. If either side uses nukes, annihilate it. My view is if the battlefield is at China’s door steps, that’s most likely the case because the US has pushed all the way to the Far East, either at East China Sea or South China Sea or both, the US would have zero chance to win. If the US starts to attack mainland China, China could deliver conventional missiles to the continental US as well. Even though the US has had never ending wars, you only see it fight countries like Iraq and Afghan. When Russia got involved in Syria, it backs down. You would never see the US fight a medium or a major power.

@@JasonLivinginChina Comments like "Biden, what are you doing?" are not really unbiased. Comments like "Maybe you could use that money to fix the US's homeless problem", while sounding neutral, still reveal a bias. If you had found an area where China was deficient and said something like "Xi, what are you doing?" it might've been better, but not really. I find myself ultimately agreeing with your conclusion that war would not benefit either side and this will likely not come to pass because nobody wants it, but I'm just kind of sad that it wasn't presented in a more unbiased way.

I think as long as the world's economy is still steadily growing (more or less), there will be no general war between China and the US. However, if the world's economy declines for too long, world war III may be unavoidable, because ambitious climbers will have Mass Basis. Let's just hope this will not come too soon, not in 50 years...
