English narrative of Jason's Inner Mongolian dinner: while eating at the grand dinning table of 40 guests, suddenly, a Mongolian female server started to sing. Her tunes were uniquely Mongolian. Her voices were extremely high pitched. In a few moments, a male Mongolian server started to sing a similar high pitched song. He ushered in a chef wearing a toque blanche pulling a large cart with a whole roasted lamb lying on layers of green lettuce. The door of the dining hall was shut after the chef pulled the cart in. Jason and others were invited to curve parts of the golden roasted feast.

Wow, thanks for such superb video from Jason. I have one background knowledge to share. At 3:00 the instrument is a Morin khuur. It is the earliest and most primitive fiddle. Spreading east, it turns into beggar's fiddle, the er'hu of China. Spreading west, it turns into aristocrats' fiddle, the violin, viola, cello, etc.

This proves that China (Inner Mongolia) does not need high GDP per capita to live a good life.
@otaviodelucca3573 Жыл бұрын
Inner Mongolia actually has one of the highest GDP per capita in China. It’s the highest GDP per capita of a landlocked province in China (aside from Beijing and Chonqing, which are special municipalities of course).
@otaviodelucca3573 Жыл бұрын
Oh I think the information I got was not updated. Hubei has since overtake the title of the highest GDP per capita of a landlocked province, but for just 100 dollars ahead lol. Inner Mongolia has the second highest, with a GDP per capita somewhat like Chile.
@GuyWhoLikesTheSnarkies1435 Жыл бұрын
Because China publish GDP growth that actually correspond to the country's real economic growth. Unlike most developing countries where growth almost certainly superficial (nominal term).
@ProCelestialEmpire Жыл бұрын
@@otaviodelucca3573 Hubei has more than twice of inner mongolia's population, so the 100 usd more means a lot. Also Hubei's GDP comprises of more industrial and high tech sector. Hubei is not only the highest among the landlocked provinces, but also ranks 5th among all provinces. that being said, Hubei ranks higher than many coastal provinces in terms of GDP per capita.
